I guess you probably don't know the answer, so an educated guess will do. Has anyone seen the tie he's wearing today at Prime Minister's Question? I've never seen him in that tie before: it's the best tie I've ever seen him wear.

Not sure about manty ties but think he will have at least 21 ties.

One for day, one for evening and one spare each day of the week.

Of course he could have 84 so that you will forget what ties he has already worn - that is one month's supply of ties x 3 daily.

You are obviously impressed with his tie today - why not send a note to ask who the designer or supplier is.

he has 263 ties and he keeps them on racks, colour coded and then by design i.e. stripes, spots, plains. He has 7 plain black ties and always has one available in case someone important pegs it suddenly. He says he actually likes wearing a suit and a tie. If you are interested, he owns a staggering 44 suits of all different weights.

I reckon he get them free from designers trying to advertise their brand. I think he probably get a new one for each public appearance and then gives it away. So I doubt he has many stored, maybe around 50 or so.

More than he can count, I'd imagine, but the one that stands out and concerns me the most is the one that binds him to George W. Bush.
