The thing I feel would most help Americans would be to learn what their central government is doing to them, not for them. Americans are loosing their freedoms one by one and are being taken over by a dictatorship.

But most Americans do not care as long as they think they are earning a living, have food on their table and a place to sleep in out of the weather. Ask almost all men and many women what the latest pro sports standings are and they can rattle of stats with seeming no end. Ask them what current legislation in their central government taking away more of their freedoms and they have no idea what you are talking about.

Americans are loosing their country rapidly! Unless Americans stop their total interest in sports and pay closer attention to what is happening to their country they will soon have no country in which to enjoy those sports.

It is your Republic! Require true accountability from your representatives sent to Washington, D.C. or bring them home and replace them immediately; not at the next elections.

you may not believe me, but just a little research on your part will show you the truth. It is your country and you are about to loose it. Please take this warning to heart!

I think one of the biggest problems is personal accountability. If our economy were strong enough to allow one parent to stay home with the kids, I think we'd be far better off as a nation.

That said, I think we need to cut waste and hold people accountable. I am sick of hearing how someone who could burn $50,000 and mot even feel it escapes paying taxes because of some clause-- of course they can, they can afford to hire a bunch of tax accountants to find the holes. Also, these old laws- like where the government pays people to NOT farm their land, even if it's now developed into housing, has got to stop- not saying farmers don't need help cuz a LOT do, I'm talking about the rich people that wouldn't know a beet from a potato that rake in the bucks! I also think a Congressman or Representative shouldn't be allowed to vote on a bill that would directly funnel money into their home state- get rid of the PORK BARREL!! Then, maybe we'd have more money to spend on education and welfare. I also think the welfare system needs to be revamped as I hate when people collect their check and do nothing but eat pork rinds and watch tv all day...

I think that Welfare should only be given to people that truly need it. Like disabled people or the elderly. Not to a women who chooses to have 5 kids by 5 different men, sit on their a**es and collect child support and welfare. This is wrong!~!~! Also, I think that minimum wage should be higher. If you look back on the last ten years, look at how much the cost of living has increased but the minimum wage has not that much. It was $4.25 when I started working 12 years ago and now it's like what $5.25 or $5.35? I remember buying gas for $.85 ten years ago and now it's $2.50 a gallon. This is crazy....LOWER gas prices....INCREASE wages and gather up all illegals and send them to their home and close the borders and shoot anyone who tries to get through that is not a U.S. Citizen.

FDR is the coolest president, yet he was also the one that started the welfare program. Now I think in his time (Great depression) welfare was the right thing to do. However, now the system is being totally abused, we should begin a gradual weening off of welfare. We need to reinstill the meaning of hard work and self accomplishment back into America, instead of solely relying on gov't to do things for us.

Keep cutting at the government waste.
When it takes 90 cents of dollar to get to a welfare program compare to 3 to 5 cents to get the poor in church.
Something is wrong.
I think we all start taking responiblity for our lives instead of depending on Uncle Sam to always bail us out would be a great start.

Keeping good paying jobs at home, cut Congress and Senate salaries and give them bounuses at the end of the fiscal year to keep America, American! Treat them like elected CEO's. Hold their feet to the fire! Cut taxes for average Americans, keep the marriage bonus and child credit would be increased to $1500.00. Families need their money in their pockets. Too many are working 2 jobs to stay afloat.

I would keep celebrities out of it. They are rich and famous and don't have a clue about anything! Sean Penn, Jane Fonda, Michael Moore gotta go! I don't see them contributing to rebuilding the infrastructure of the United States, not even building low to mid-income housing for their fellow countrymen! Why aren't they contributing to finding and funding enviromentally friendly alternatives for energy?

1st and formost...Get rid of this political correctness! 2ndly make Americans educate themselves beyond the headlines, and 7 to 8 minute news they use as their truth source. 3rdly get rid of Blonde Dye! Especially when your wearing black attire. It only makes you look big as a house! By the way Jenny craig has you on her most wanted poster!
