I would have done the same as Bush after 9/11. But that was the hunt for Bin Laden, not Saddam.
Intelligence reports couldn't even muster up enough evidence to make Iraq more of a threat than North Korea.

You are talking two entirely different subjects here. 9/11 I would have done just as I did and joined the other 40+ nations in fighting the war on terror. In Iraq we did have intelligence that said there were WMD's in Iraq. We also had planes being shot down and then there were the UN resolutions that were not adhered to, throwing the UN inspectors out of the country and so forth, so I would have gone into Iraq too. We won't even go into the oil for food scandal and The UN, France and Russia dirty hands up to their shoulders in Saddam's pockets.

There WERE WMDs in Iraq, and if Syria uses them now, they get nuked. In addition artillery shells containg sarin and mustard gas were discovered in Iraq in 2004, apparently left overs from using on the Kurds and Iranians.
I hope the causes of the intelligence failures leading up to 9/11 have been corrected, Bush inherited them, if Clinton had nothing to hide Sandy Berger would not have been purging records from teh National Archives to deny them to the 9/11 commission. Butas far as what I would do differently AFTER 9/11, I'd find who was where, and when teh taliban had their big conference in Kabaul to decide whether or not to surrender Bin Laden, the place would have become a smoking hole in the ground BEFORE they had chance to run to the hills and hide in caves. Bin Laden had intelligence support beyond Afghanistan's means, and he is probably "out of bounds" right now in some country we can't touch him in, operating by remote control.

1. I would have paid more attention to the reports I got before hand
2. Questioned all the Ben Ladins before they were allowed to leave the country
3. Gone after Ben Ladin and stayed focused on it till the job was done.
On the WMDs I would have not cherry picked things to get what I wanted just so I could go pick on a toothless tiger.
Two different reports, both commissioned by GWB proved there were no WMDs capable of being a threat to anyone left in Iraq.

Hmmmm, good question. Well, I would've told my men to create an explosion on top of the towers first to get the camera attention so that the first plane would be caught on tape too.
Second, I would not have let the C4 explosion be caught on tape right before and during the collapse.
Third, I would find out how the security of the dumping of the building's ruins was breached to sneak out a chunk of the material which was sent to Alex Jones and tested positive for C4 residue.
Fourth, I would confiscate the pentagon pictures, specially the one that shows the turbine of the missile that hit it and would also destroy the security tape from the gas station that filmed the whole thing.
Fifth, I would not have brought down building 7 in front of the cameras, specially since nothing hit it in the first place.
Sixth and final thing, I would face the cameras and just confess to how much of an evil f*ckup I am and beg the American people for forgiveness.

I would activate national guardsmen immediately, and deploy one squad (no Muslim or Arabic soldiers) in every plane armed with handguns and seated in uniform in the front of the airplane facing the rear and away from the passengers. Allow them to watch the passengers closely with hidden, closed-circuit cameras, as needed. Train them for about four hours everyday between four hour shifts on the planes until they are fully prepared to handle every scenario/situation on an airplane. Replace each squad as able with one well-trained and armed government agent in civilian clothes per plane.
Arrest every person matching similar characteristics of the highjackers, and release information on individuals who attempt to evade arrest to the public for assistance in arresting them. Deport them at once, unless they can establish without a doubt that they pose no threat. Prevent all non-American Muslims from entering the country. Watch all non-American Muslims already in the country.
Invade Afghanistan exactly as was done in 2001 and destroy Al Qaida there.
Establish a secure, picture, national bio-ID system for all people within this country linked to a criminal history database. Install motion detecting, infrared/light amplifying cameras all along our borders, and have these cameras monitored for movements. Enable communication with appropriate government agencies.
Concerning Iraq, I would say, allow inspectors in or consider resistance to such an act of aggression provoking a unilateral strike with WMD, if required, against suspected WMD targets. Manned aerial patrols would be replaced by unmanned, armed aerial patrols would be supported by manned aircraft in the air at safe locations and ship-based missiles. Troops from Saudi Arabia and that region would be moved out of the area after the WMD threat was neutralized.

I would have my plane, Air Force One, take me to Washington without a moments hesitation. My place should have been in the Oval office, not on a cowards ride to bunkers across the country.
A president should lead at the front lines, not hide behind security only he has access to.
I would have made public any and all details of the attack so that any retribution would never be questioned, and any additional loss of life would be one of true honor and service to country.
I would have fired everyone in my employ that advised me to make statements or participate in actions that made me look like an ineffectual fool in front of the world.

i would have nuked turkey and uganda cause those guys were behind 9/11 for sure.
no i''d have done what bush did because that was the only logical choice at the time.
oh yea, and take no prisoners. we should just line insurgents up in the street, torch them and their families, and hang those mother******* from those crossed swords in baghdad. i'm fed up with being nice. if they keep lying to our troops about ied's and insurgents, we should throw them into a tree shredder to show we mean business.

The same exact thing we've done! Go after the terrorists that came to our country and drew blood!
There were WMD in Iraq!!!!!! They had been being used on the Iraqi people for many years before we ever stepped foot on their sand.
Bush was right when he sent our troops over there and is still right to keep them there for the time being!

Nuked Mecca AND Medina. Started a war on Islam with no holds barred. Those people are unteachable. The Bible shows exactly how to deal with those who hate the Children of Israel. We should take a leaf out of God's playbook.
