I have asked this question before, but didn't really get an answer, so I will try again...this is pretty important. Thanks in advance.

If I want to file a restraining order against my husband who I recently left (in Canada), can I get to apply to just my school address (he knows where I go), or do I have to file my new home address & new job (both of which he doesn't know)? And if that is the case, then would it be worth it...to give this physically abusive man my address? Are there any other options?

Last year I was given a ticket for Failure to Yield Right of Way because of an incident that occurred while I was stopped at a red light. The road had two lanes with a turning lane and a raised median. I was the only car in the left lane stopped at this red light. A cop approaches from behind with his lights on, bear in mind that the light is still red as he comes up behind me, he honked his horn at me and I proceeded to pull into the intersection, at which time the vehicle to my right also began to pull forward. As such I was unable to pull toward the right. I continue to pull forward and the cop squeezes between me and the car to my left. He has to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting me or the median on the other side of the road. He takes off down the road. A half a mile down the road he turns around and takes his squad car over the median and pulls me over. I took the issue to court and never went into the courtroom as the cop's story was conflicting with mine. I paid the fine.

A married man can be easily sent to a jail by his wife under S. 498A of IPC and the new law on THE MAINTENANCE & WELFARE OF PARENTS AND SENIOR CITIZENS BILL 2007 punishes adult children for not caring for their parents.

In an Indian household as such a husband is being made a minced meat both by the wife and the mother. Now with the intervention of law this drama would attract new colours.

So from now on will the parents of a new born son drown their son in a cauldron of milk like they used to do before decades or abort the male foetus! i know i am stretching the question but is the government not responsible for having a proper social security system rather than law makers reminding people of their moral obligations.

(this question doesn't refer to situations were a man is wilfully at fault)

The Congressman claims complete reverence for the Constitution, yet in his imagination, the Presidency seems to have unfettered authority to make sweeping changes to government. And the Paul Bearers talk a good game in support, but they don't specify either. Under what authority does Ron Paul plan to:
1) Put the US economy on the Gold Standard (and where will the necessary amount of gold come from)?
2) Abolish the Income Tax?
3) Abolish the CIA, FBI, ATF and other agencies?
4) Abbrogate NAFTA and the WTO?
5) Withdraw from the UN and NATO?

Some people argue that the first naturalization laws stated that only "free white persons" could apply for citizenship, and it was white males that were "free".

Imagine if the US had been settled by Chinese or Arab cultures and immigration laws were designed to preserve these cultures.

Is it right that the nation remain majority white and other darker immigrant populations be controlled?

What rights do you think (if any) illegal aliens should receive, and what do you think would be fair punishment for breaking the law and entering illegally?

Do you believe in work visas for illegals?

Should their children be granted citizenship?

Zech 12:2-3- vs. 2 "Jerusalem will be like a cup in my hand. It will make all of the surrounding nations drunk from the wine of my anger. Judah will be attacked by its enemies. So will Jerusalem. (does this sound familiar? see what iran andsyria are doing today?)

3 "At that time all of the nations on earth will gather together against Jerusalem. Then it will become like a rock that can't be moved. All of the nations that try to move it will only hurt themselves.

Right now the United States is politically polarized between Democrat and Republican, with both sides becoming more extreme and both sides becoming more and more unwilling to compromise. If a well-known Democrat and a well known Republican were to both leave their political parties in the upcoming 2008 election and run together as independent candidates, would they have a shot at getting elected, and would this bring the US back toward the unity of purpose that made us a great nation to begin with?

I live in Massachusetts.

When I was 15 I stole someone's credit card number and tried to buy a dvd online. Needless to say i was caught and now it's on my juvinile record. Credit card fraud! It sounds so bad I can barely say it out loud. It's my only flaw on my recocrd. Nothing else but this. No criminal record. My record is not sealed. I'm 20 and in college for criminal justice. Is all hope lost for getting a job in this field? Will government agencies look at this and not accept me? Should i just quit now? This has been bothering me for so long and I feel so hopeless. Can someone shed light on this? Can someone with the knoledge tell me if this will disqualify me from getting a job as a police officer (for example)?

Working in the criminal justice field is my dream and i want to follow my dream. I know it's credit card fraud but doesn't the fact that it's juvinile make any difference? I was 15 years old! Do I have a chance? With a BS from Northeastern??

Respectfully,
Mike

If I am in my car and someone walks out to me from a building and threatens me, is it ok for me to fight them there and then. I know it may not be a good idea, but whats done is done. So, what is the consequence if I get in my car after I hit him a few times and drive away. I will doubtfully see them ever again. Yes they probably reported my plates, no i did not know this person. Can i just deny everything. Yes there were witnesses but doubtfull they saw much.

Has anyone noticed that the "above the influence" commercials are actually referring to the consequences of alcohol instead of marijuana? You know, like "Oh I can't believe they took that picture, I must've been 'high'!" Or "Oh God, I ran that little girl over because I was so 'high'!" Do people really think that marijuana breaks down your judgement and motor skills or is this just government propaganda at work?

This is concerning a issue in India.

Does anyone know how a IT company like Wipro may handle a polygamy case practised by its employee.
I mean it is known that multi national companies provide medical benefits to an employee's spouse and children. How would they handle a situation where there are 2 spouses and their children? . Do they allow the employee to select medical benefit for both spouses or one only ?
because being a muslim the employee can have 4 legally married wives as per the legal system. Being legally married all 4 wives have right to get medical benefits from the company ??

By "dirty" I mean both would stoop to the lowest levels imaginable to win the White House. Hillary has shown her self to be a two faced hypocrite, and Huckabee is pandering to the deluded Christian Right and telling them everything they want to hear.
They both make me sick.
Can you think of a worse matchup ? Please give reasons for your answers. I could be wrong. Convince me, and I'll give you a Best Answer.
