I live in a townhouse where there are 2 units- a separate upper and lower unit. The mailman will only deliver to the upper part of the house even though my mail is addressed to my (separate) address. My mailbox is about 5 feet away and the upper neighbor has a mail slot in their door and so my mail always gets delivered to them. The not-so-nice mailman told me that the law says he only has to deliver to one location per building. Is this true? Has anyone had this happen to them? I plan on going to the post office and/or calling but I want to know if there is any truth to what he is saying.

Why is it?
I always thought this land was a new start for many people but the immigration just sucks from what I hear.
Why do they make you pay large sums to just get rejected.
It should just be "fill out this form and we'll let you know if you are able to come"
It would be so much easier!
Are the people really that mean? I could never imagine security people being mean! I heard so many bad stories about them.
I am a citizen (not natural-born), but I have alot of relatives that want to come here.
Why does the US need all this drama andyway?
Do they think the people trying to come here are goign to start a World War 3 or somthing?
Gosh!!!!!!!! Sometimes I wish some decent person would run for president and make the US better!
Another thing, why do you need to be natural born to be able to be president? Just cuz? Just cuz they don't want no non-american to lead the nation?
Gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is in sync with the other candidates in terms of positions on the issues but one really has to stand back and admire his hair as there is very little else that is admirable about him.

I was accused of a serious crime I did not committ. They (DA) had no evidence for the duration of the case, two years. Now weak evidence has surfaced and I cannot prove that I am innocent so I accepted a plea bargain which is rather harsh considering they had nothing linking me to the victim other than their word against mine. need to know if my lawyer can still negotiate after the judge has cooled down prior to the date of the actual sentencing. I had to lie in court and say I did something that I didn't and represented by a public defender I did it because a jury would most likely believe the victim despite a lack of evidence Can anyone help? I have no money for a good lawyer and did not want to go to prison for a crime I did not comitt but 6 years of probation, 60 days of jail and sex offender registry (low level) is very stiff considering all the victim did was just name people in the neighborhood and lie to the police. There is no evidence saying otherwise other than a statement

Someone was saying the only thing a criminal needs is your first and last name and they can steal your entire identity, including your social secuirty number. I find it hard to believe that the government would make it that easy for someone to steal your social security number.

Was it looking in the wrong place. Shouldn't it have been looking in it's own Nuclear arsenal? and chemical weaponry first?
What's the diference between Yank WMDs
and any others? what gives them the right to destroy sovereign nations. Surely NOT for OIL? (''Cos we are rich and powerful'') that's the real reason aint it?

I just learned some new physics calculations and, since I was stationed on an aircraft carrier a while back, I decided to plug in some numbers. After some calculations, I came up with an illusionary tilt of about 76 degrees. Is this true or did I screw something up? Does anybody know anything about this?

It means that during flight operations at night, when you can't see anything, you feel like you're going up at an angle of 76 degrees greater than your actual angle. So you might feel like diving the jet nose down into the water in order to compensate.

This can't be right.

I've been to Canada many times and most people there are ok, but something that really bothers me is when a Canadian (or anyone else who isn't American, but it's usually Canadians) who feel the need to comment on the second amendment. Canadians never shut up about guns in America and they are always saying b/s like "those yanks are all gun loving freaks" ... "I couldn't live in the USA, I would be scared of being shot in my own home" ... "Canadian cities are so much safer, we only have 2 murders a year but in an American city they have like 10 trillion murders a year eh". Even worse are the one’s who blame Americans for gun crime in Canada.

Why don't they mind their own business? Why do they feel the need to comment on a right/freedom/law of a country they don’t live in?

It occurs to me that the government has absolutely no right to legislate what a business owner can or can't allow in their own establishment. This used to be a free country; but not any more. I could live or own a business in communist China, and there would not be this amount of government invasion in how I chose to run my business. Can we possibly have less government and not the invasive amount we have now? In parts of Illinois it's illegal for a restaurant to serve fois gras-how completely absurd. The owner of a business absolutely has the right to make their own choices! If you don't want smoke or fois gras, go to a non-smoking or fois gras free restaurant!

I won my fantasy football league this past week. The grand prize was $1,700, which in my state is taxable income. I’m an upstanding citizen and would not sleep at night unless Uncle Sam got his fair cut.

I addressed the other league members on the discussion board asking each of them for their social security numbers and addresses so I can list them as the sources of this additional income on my tax filing. I also advised them to report the entry fee as an expense on their own returns.

To my dismay, every member of the league responded with harsh vulgarities & even left nasty messages on my voice mail. Said I’m not welcome to play next year too!!! I can’t believe they will not disclose the necessary information & getting so angry over this.

What else can I do to get this information from them? Furthermore, I want to attend the banquet. Should I just show up?

Hello.I was studying abroad in Mexico. I just got back to awful and ugly weather (it's about 45-30 degrees F). I am used to around 70 - 80 degrees. Now I am always cold and I have flu-like symtoms. I feel nauseated in the morning, dizzy and light headed. And body aching. Also, I was on bieth control pills (Ortho Triclyclen Lo). I left them at home by accident, and my period was messed up. (Came 2 weeks late, stayed for 2 weeks, didn't come the next month, etc.) So I got on new pills there. On my way home, I began to take Ortho Triclyclen Lo again, and my period seems to have come, and it's not supposed to come for 2 more weeks! Yesterday I got small spotting and today a little bit of blood. Also, 2 days ago I got a flu shot, but I had been having these symptoms before then. What's wrong!!!???

your opinions on Andrea Yates. After drowning her five children, she was found guilty in Texas courts and sentenced to jail. Because of the need for a retrial, she has now been found "not guilty" by reason of insanity and will be committed to a mental hospital for treatment. , what is your opinions? critically think your position on this case and explain it and your reasoning.
