I don't care who you are or what your personnel situation is. I vote based on who I think would do the best job.

I believe that any dummies that would think about the race of a candidates husband/wife and even worse make that the reason they wouldn't vote for them shouldn't be a part of the voting process and shouldn't have the right to decide who runs our country. The spouse has nothing to do with who is the president is and even if it did, there is nothing wrong with a black wife. Our country is full of people who have only cared about race but then they make anyone who wants to be a citizen go through so much trouble. We all need to hear a candidate out and see what they have to say. It shouldn't matter what race they are, gender, or race of a spouse, relative, etc. If they are a great candidate and they want to better our country, nothing else should matter. Sorry I wrote so much but things like this shouldn't even matter but sadly they do and we should start changing that little by little.

I would vote for him if I agreed with him on the issues. I am sure there would be some that would say they don't want a Black first lady in the White House just like some are saying they don't want a Black president.

I vote morals and values, not the person's spouse. That is why I reject Hillary Clinton and all the others who claim credibility by association. Without morals, what is your compass in guiding a country of 303 million people?

That would have no bearing on my vote. The person's positions, integrity, honesty, and support of this country and the free enterprise system are the important issues. I don't need more government, I need a lot less.

Oh cry me a river, for the love of god. This will never be an equal country because of people like you who always have to cry and complain about how uneven the world is against you. Get your act together and stop enabling all of this nonsense. Real Americans like all people everyone has a chance here you just cant wait around at the welfare office or steal it. Get real

It is 2007, very few people would give a damn. Some would be positive, a few would be negative. Overall, I think it would be a positive for the candidate.

why not?

I would not choose a candidate based on race, sex, race of their spouse, or sex of their spouse (yes, I would vote for a homosexual candidate if I thought he or she was the right one for the job)
