Because he does a good job of representing his state. You might disagree with his policies, but the voters of Massachusetts apparently do not (since they elect people with similar views to other offices). Furthermore, he has a solid reputation as a Senator who can get legislation passed (which puts him ahead of at least 90 other Senators).

Nobody can credibly deny that Ted Kennedy is the most effective liberal Senator currently in the Senate. Which brings us back to the bottom line. He gets re-elected because the people in Massachusetts agree with his policies.

Big Name ! Money! Money! Money! and Irish! Chappaquiddock Ted can get away with anything in the state of Mass. The name "Kennedy" carries a lot of recognition. Unfortunately this man was not the " Pick of the Litter ". But Massachusetts doesn't know any better. Look at the 12 billion dollar tunnel which keeps dropping its ceiling.

That is a really good question. I sometimes wonder myself. To be honest with you its the liberals in Mass. that keep sending and sending him back like the little energizer rabbit. He is such a blow hard. Of course Nevada has Reid and California has Pelosi. The three of them are the axis of nothing. There is no balance in the democratic party. They are split and the left being the loudest they follow them only to find out when the showdown comes that the left really isn't the democratic base. Blue dog democrats like myself have our eyes open unlike the far left demo-crats when the voting showdown arrives.

I have no idea, but I live in a state where Harry Reid keeps getting reelected (although last election he ran unopposed, I voted for none of the above).

I live in the peoples republic of taxachusetts, and I cannot for the life of me understand why the sheepeople of this once great commonwealth keep electing this drunken libertine, killer over and over again. What is happening in Massachusetts is a damn shame and should be a WAKE UP call for the rest of the United States. This is socialism in the making.

Because he's a Kennedy, and he's still riding the coattails of his brothers Jack and Bobby.

Every time he opens his mouth, he fouls the memory of those two fine men.

Vote for Rudy!
