Why is it?
I always thought this land was a new start for many people but the immigration just sucks from what I hear.
Why do they make you pay large sums to just get rejected.
It should just be "fill out this form and we'll let you know if you are able to come"
It would be so much easier!
Are the people really that mean? I could never imagine security people being mean! I heard so many bad stories about them.
I am a citizen (not natural-born), but I have alot of relatives that want to come here.
Why does the US need all this drama andyway?
Do they think the people trying to come here are goign to start a World War 3 or somthing?
Gosh!!!!!!!! Sometimes I wish some decent person would run for president and make the US better!
Another thing, why do you need to be natural born to be able to be president? Just cuz? Just cuz they don't want no non-american to lead the nation?
Gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some are right about what happened on 9/11. But the US shouldn't judge on what OTHER people did. Just because some people from a certain race did something bad doesn't mean we have the right to discriminate against other people from that race. Others are right, the US is tightening security because of all the illegal immigrations.
If any of you are wondering why I care, its cause i have family that want to come here. I just want to see if its hard to get them here.

First question.
whole thing comes down to three areas.
Support: Are they able to support themselves or are others able to support them.
Conbutrion: What would the US gain and do we need it.
Security: Incressed sence 9/11 screening.

Second question getting the facts for first three is not cheap every thing costs more when the goverment does it.
The reason for the drama is to prevent a wave of immgration that would disrupt the American way of bussness and goverment services.

Third question was WW3 at the time of the constution was writen this was a valid point and is again today. With the current fringe groups out there and how open the US is thats inviting trouble. Here you can buy explosives out of mail along with firearms over the internet. Heck you can by a old tank if you want.

The President issue was one that was very well thought out. Our president has huge powers if he invokes them and they wanted to be sure no agents of other countries took over that office.
His powers in the war time power act allow him to supend almost all laws and impose miltary rule(not done sence the cival war). Trust me you do not want to see that, Federal take over of state, local goverments, most crimes go to death penality, no trials.

I'm sorry to say but don"t you have to catch up on a lot of history? Did you know that USA had some to the easiest requirements for citizenship before 9/11? They also have fewer restrictions on visas. So because some gringo got $ thousands illegally, you want us to keep the illegals? Is the word Law in your vocabulary Have you ever heard of growing up? Have you read the Constitution? If you find so many faults with America Why did you become a naturalized citizen?

This country belongs to the people who are legal citizens. It does not belong to the citizens of other countries. This might be a difficult concept to grasp, but it is what maintains the unity of the country.
It is the right of the citizens to protect the borders of this country, the same way you protect your house.
People who come here should demonstrate that they will somehow contribute to society, not depend on it.
Your way of thinking is inconsistent with the idea of democracy, doesn't make any sense.
We have to have rules to live by. I am sure you have some rules you live by.
One people, one language,one country.
All other countries in the world protect their borders because they want to preserve their heritage, their tradition and identity.
What you are advocating is also called anarchy, a form of destroying the unity of this country.
People come here because they like the way we are. So, they should be like us.
If you think your neighbor has a bigger and better house, should you move in with him?
Give me a break!
P.S. How difficult would it be for an american to move into your country of origin as a permanent resident?

first of all, calm down... second of all, you know how all those people want to come into america?, well multiply that by say... a couple million... now, where are we going to put all those people? after a while america isn't going to be such a dreamland... we'd become over populated... our beautiful landscapes would have to be destroyed to make room for all the newcomers... new laws would have to be put into force... etc... and also if all the people left, say, germany or some awesome country... what native would be there to look after the country?

all rules are related to the constitution. And american politician doesnt want to change it because it will ruin the real constitution thats created decades ago...every place needs a law to tighten and protect their country....freedom isnt free, you must work for it to survive, just like every where else... Dont think america is a place for fun, just because of all technologies and resources. Keep up with the history or study political science, then you'll understand better

Every country makes it hard to immigrate to - America is not any different. I expect the UK is harder to get in.

"Why does the US need all this drama andyway?"

Because we want to know for sure who is coming here and if they can actually help this country instead of just feeding off of it or hurting it.

"Just cuz they don't want no non-american to lead the nation?"

That would be yes!

"Just cuz they don't want no non-american to lead the nation?"
