I see a poor person on the street, I feel incredibly sorry for the poor soul... so I go the a man next to me and steal from his wallet... then I give the contents of the wallet to the poor man.
Am I charitable, moral, justified?

The boss at my law firm has a little spoiled brat that gets whatever he wants and the annual Christmas party is tomorrow and I need something original to get him. If he doesn't like the gift then he will literally throw it away, last year one of the Jr. partners got him some kind of 10,000 dollar trip around the world and he literally threw it away, I have about a 10 grand budget and I was thinking of getting him a IPhone cased in gold. Last year the person that got him a speedboat (his favorite gift of the year) and he was promoted to Senior partner. The year before that someone got him some trip to Verizon to make him a completely customized phone and he was promoted to Junior partner. Look, I am an excellent attorney and I believe that I deserve a promotion and this is my best chance. What should I get that little spoiled brat for Christmas? This kid is so mean, last year I put a 4 thousand dollar donation in his name and he said "thats ****in' useless!"

It seems if you give to charity all the time, adopt poor children, and try all you can to protect the environment... but you vote against the Welfare State... Liberals call you selfish and a bigot.
But if you have never given to charity, hoard all of your money, and never think twice about the environment... but you vote for the Democratic Welfare State... you are a charitable progressive and a truly good person.

He pulled in a committee to select the team of delegates and just listened in from time to time. Wasn't there but I just know. I have good instincts about such things. Now he just wants to beat it out of DC and get a back to the ranch. Bet he never looks as the tv news. wonder how he passes the time.

Other than religion.

It seems like crazy outspoken religious folks are giving the right wingers a bad name, so now I'm looking for a few of the normal, logical ones to defend their position.

And if you're just gonna say "Nothing is wrong with gay marriage" then don't bother.

His policies in my opinion is what made Canada strong at the beginning of the 21st century, yet Canadians continue to treat him like he's some kind of monster.

1. The GST (which was implemented in 1991 under his government) was a crucial part in reducing the budget deficit and transfering it into a surplus.

2. Free trade with the United States and NAFTA (1992) gave North America an open market which is currently strengthening our economic position and fuelling our GDP growth, as Canada relies on trade.

3. Meech and Charlottetown accords tried to sew Canada into one piece by getting Quebec to accept the Canadian constitution. However, Trudeau destroyed it.

The icing on the cake was his environmental policies. In 1990, he signed an acid rain treaty with Bush senior which reduced emissions in both countries.

All this and Canadians treat him as the worst Prime Minister in our history? Why Canadians give him no respect?

Would Giuliani really win if he was paired against Hillary Clinton.

Giuliani would loose the Christian right, one third of Republican Voters.
He would loose Democratic Voters.
He would loose Hispanic Voters
He would loose Black Voters
He would loose anyone else who do not believe in electing presidents who have had two affairs and have been married three times.

Would he still win?

and all forms of amnesty and guest worker programs?

I am trying to gauge that americans from both the right and the left oppose the amnesty movement as well as the swipe card guest worker movement. So please, indicate your opposition, but also indicate whether you are democrat, republican or independent.

Just out of curiosity...do you read papers, do research on all the candidates, use this site to figure out who you want to vote for?? Why are you on the elections site? Some of the answers on the elections page are rather narrow-minded and some are really thoughtful... Just curious who is actually on here.
