He pulled in a committee to select the team of delegates and just listened in from time to time. Wasn't there but I just know. I have good instincts about such things. Now he just wants to beat it out of DC and get a back to the ranch. Bet he never looks as the tv news. wonder how he passes the time.

Remind me not to pick you for any committee.

Presidents "always" delegate. They don't have the time and most of the time the need to be a "hands on" type person. Reagan was one of the most effective Presidents and he delegated almost all of the issues. That's why Presidents have a cabinet. Secretary of State does the foreign affairs, Treasury Secretary does the financial aspects, etc. Get my drift?

Bad leaders want a control say in every government matter. That's why bad leaders fail and usually end up with a coup against them.

Where did you learn Civil Government? Just curious who your professor was.

Of course you know such things Santa.
You also know these things were on Georgy Boys wish list and maybe a few nukes left in his stocking.
The real question is "Has Georgy been naughty or nice Santa?"

I've read in the magazine that he asked his father for advice. I believe President Bush is pretty much on a fish hook right now. He needs all the help he can get from the committee.

I think you have it wrong, a good leader delegates responsibility and provides guidance. Bush is a puppet, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Wolferwitz et al were really the leaders but with no responsibility.

Wasn't that the problem with his first term?

I mean he spent A LOT of time on vacation.

Come to think of it, that might actually would have been better for the country if he had just stayed on vacation.

Carter Clinton-for sure was excellent at this--and Kennedy--did it also--and so did-well all of the Presidents-try again--
