That sneaky witch knows that people can Caucasus for her via mail and absentee votes... the Clintons are a tricky bunch of evil greedy idiots thinking they can fool the people. They should tell them the truth... if you sign one of those pledge cards you can't change your mind during elections time.

No, but I got some kind of stupid letter with a form to fill out and send back to Giuliani. And I can't figure out why I got it. I'm a registered Democrat, but a lot of my paternal family around here are Republicans, so maybe that's why. I don't know. So far that's the only thing I've gotten like that via the mail this election.

First, to answer your initial question: No, I haven't received mail from Clinton with a pledge card seeking a promist to vote for her.

The people who campaign for her send those out because they just want to know who is DEFINITELY voting for her--a lot of people are undecided or whatever, so they just want to know who really will vote for her. It's not like you HAVE to! It just helps them know where she stands in the race. Almost every candidate does this.

Obama did the same! He wants your phone #, email address and a pledge to vote for him on the voting date.
It would be a fool for a candidate not to lock in the vote ASAP.
