Gaudete, gaudete Christos est natus
Ex Maria virginae, gaudete.

As an atheist may God, Yggdrasil, the Norns, the Fates, the Oracles, Wotan, The Flying Spaghetti Monster and Leprechauns all grant you a day of festive cheer!

If you can- I thoroughly recommend Midnight & Christmas Mass at St Paul's- the music & Choir alone is truly magnificent superb. I'll be there. Enjoy our culture while it's still about.

Guadete Dominum!
Adeste Fideles!

Wassail!!!

I live on two acres and I had a landscaper do some extensive irrigation systems and do allot of planting. The grass never did come up and over a third of the plants died. I called the landscaper and said that he was out of money and wasn't able to purchase more seed to complete the job. Went to Small Claims Court and won a judgement for $5,400.

He is self employed and moves from job to job, so garnashing any wages would be tuff. I attempted to turn it over to a collection agency and when the manager saw the name on my folder, he said "get in line, this guy owes everybody in town".

I have paid him a visit at his house (that he rents) and demanded my money. My demand didn't affect him, but it sure scard the hell out of his wife and doesn't want me to visit his residents any more.

I did find out that he also doesn't have a bank account. He pays his bills with money orders.

Aside from just beating the crap out of the guy, do I have any options to get my money back.

I am a 23 yr old female who wishes to join the army, but i have been informed that due to the fact that i had an allergy to bees when i was younger, i will not be able to join. This i s not the first time in my life i have tried to join, i tried for the first time when i was 17, and was refused. They told me then that i was disqualified bc of the allergy, and now, even though i have had testing done to prove i am no longer allergic, I am still being turned down. Does any experienced memeber or recruiter know what my next step could be, who i could call or write too? I am very serous in my ambition to be a soldier and i am willing to do what it takes to get in. Any advice or answers would be greatly apreciated.

This country has a very racist and prejudiced past.Maybe God is punishing America through illegal immigration since God believes in equality.First the white settlers killed the native Americans and took their land to make their own, then they enslaved thousands of Africans to do their work. That was long ago though. He probably had it when segregation came around. In those days, the way some whites treated blacks was disgusting. Also, the treatment of Asian Americans and Hispanics was not all that great neither. And the treatment of homosexuals is bad (even if God doesn't like homosexuality he sure doesn't want his children beaten, killed and harassed) After segregation, many in this country still kept their prejudice feelings. The U.S. has a long history of unequal treatment for women. Also, many racists claim to be Christian shaming God's name. So is God sending all these illegal aliens into this country to punish those who do not want to accept diversity by forcing it upon them?

I asked:
"Gun Control+FEMA run internment camps=Civil War?"

Today, I got an e-mail saying it was removed because, "It is not a question or an answer" and that it was a "violation of the terms of use"...

I'm curious to know why. This is a question, in question form (albeit mathematical) and there's no reason for them to use the excuse that it's not an answer because it wasn't posted as an answer...

I'm called paranoid and told, "...take of your tin foil beanie", but when I post a question regarding controversy, it's removed. And apparently this isn't the first time.

I want to know why my question was removed.

A was given a folding knife on my 20th birthday, however I am confused over its carrying legality. From what I know there is no problem carrying a folding knife in California. However, the blade length of the knife I was given is 6" (!). Is it still legal to carry?

I was recently told that you can literally "give back" your Social Security Number. That, with all of the problems in the government and the management of our Social Security, someone can actually elect to opt out of the Social Security program and cash out whatever contribution they've made so far. I know the identity, medical care, license, work, and housing problems associated with not having one. I'm curious though, about the actual legality of it.

Can you really give it back if you are willing to put up with the inconvenience? Could you earn more if you were to invest that money yourself, with the shape that the Social Security Program is in? Is that a financially wise move to make? Is it even technically, legally possible?

I am currently living at a hotel on the strip for the winter, and I have heard tell that hotels in VA are not allowed BY LAW to have any type of lease agreement. Is this true? Also, if the police do a successful drug bust on a hotel room, isn't the hotel LEGALLY required to evict that person or persons??? Any insight on this would be GREATLY appreciated. My husband and I are waiting to take legal action until we fid out more.
