In AZCENTRAL.com. There is a positive article on the wave of illegal immigrants that are leaving Arizona. Basically, after Jan.1st 2008 employers will be fined for knowingly hiring illegal aliens. In response to the non commitment of Congress to give amnesty(yeah) many are returning to their nations.
Wonder how that influx will benefit the nations they left?

Its about a small town near the Rio Grande in Texas. The government wants to take over 3th of the town's houses in order to build a wall to keep illegal immigrants out. Their argument is that the wall is to protect the townspeople from illegal immigrants coming across the border. The problem is that the wall would take so much of the town that it will probably seize to exist. I can't think of a better allegory.

Its not exactly news, but really common knowledge. Undocumented workers had made tremendous increase in corporations' profit and productivity margins. You can thank the passage of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, which required prospective job applicants to furnish documents proving their right to legally work in the US. The law didn't require employers to authenticate (verify) these documents, which essentially means FAKE SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS, FAKE BIRTH CERTIFICATES, AND FAKE IDs are legally acceptable documents.
