I never signed my DD Form 214, which I'm told is required, and after constant calls left with the repeated 'excuse' that it will be coming in the mail to the address I last gave them. It's been nearly two months and still nothing.

Bush has signed over a thousand signing which is 600 more than all the presidents combined in history. A signing statement vitually allows him to ignore any part of a law and simply act or weild power the way he so chooses. I'm putting this question out there for those who really understand power and management.

A CO always rates a salute, but what about O-5 officer's that are not COs? Any kind of reference or Marine Corps Order would be great.

Gordon Brown to sign up to the European Treaty on the grounds that it was illegal because no referendum was called? My understanding is that no British Government is able to make a binding decision that no subsequent Government can repeal or amend. If this is the case has Gordon Brown acted illegally? He seemed somewhat shy of having his photo taken with the rest of the European leaders!

If you answered yes, I'm laughing at you right now. There is no way... NO WAY either of them could carry the former Confederate states. The Mid-West contains liberals in the metro areas but bible thumpin conservative Republicans everywhere else.

Does anybody know why military flashlights have an angle and are not straight like civilian flashlights. The design goes back many, many years, They must have had some reason why they made them with an angle.

Construction companies treating their employees like crap? Since there's 2 million people willing to do the same job for a fraction of the pay under the table? If you miss 2 days, with a doctor's note, in 8 months, BAM fired, poor attendance. When winter weather sets in, BAM full time folks laid off to cut costs while day labor soars. Have someone that gets hurt on the job, taps workers comp, BAM fired for a fabricated reason directly after to avoid future payouts. Someone busts butt and does everything they are asked and has one altercation w/ an equal level employee, not even a foreman, BAM let go . . . also i live in a right to work state. Everyone here says its because of the economy, but that here (arizona) is also directly tapped by illegals. . . . your thoughts?

realize that humanity can't possibly get a handle on any of its social or environmental problems until population is controlled? WIthout that, all other causes are lost. I challenge anyone to name a problem that is not made worse by an increasing population.
