If you answered yes, I'm laughing at you right now. There is no way... NO WAY either of them could carry the former Confederate states. The Mid-West contains liberals in the metro areas but bible thumpin conservative Republicans everywhere else.

No. I would be very surprised. But on the unlikely chance either could do it, I think Hillary would be more likely. And they would have to have a really bad Republican running against her. I don't know how much people in the South would vote for Rudy for example - haven't seen the polling.

The left makes use of it as a tactic to variety the section and marginalize opposition. it is no longer working this time so now they are desperate. the right and the left have illiberal extremists. Minority Whip Congressman Cantor was once shot at and threatened by making use of a Democrat on condition that of his ethnicity. SEIU member beat up a black conservative final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days for the clarification that he dared to be a black conservative. George Wallace and maximum all those in opposition to the civil rights stream interior the 50s and 60s were Southern Democrats. it is plenty much less complicated to check out to pigeon hollow a finished action with lies and a few fringe components than it is to hire 1's suggestions to assume with reference to the topics and furnish considerate debate. Why hardship once you talk that another perspective while which you would be able to easily call names? working example race baiter Disher's remark.

Neither one would be able to carry any state south of The Mason Dixon Line.
Senator Obama MIGHT be able to get Ohio. Michigan would be a toss up also with all of their unions and Detroit. I'm sure he would win Illinois. There is just way too many liberals in Chicago-land verses the good folks in southern Illinois.

Well maybe - hopefully we wont need those southern states to win. The other areas - like Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan in the midwest are not happy Reblicrits right now.
