Slinging, long enough to give THANKS to :1. The Veterans, living and gone; 2. Those who sacrificed their health to build a free, prosperous, educated America, 3. That which we do own, 4. Living in a 'relatively' safe country, 5. Having the right to enjoy a 'good / filling meal'.??
Will You stop, for just a few hours, all of the "Finger Pointing"?
Folks, we can take the gloves off, again Friday!!!!!

I know some of you people that are against illegal Immigration or even against immigrants are going to hate me or delete my question( i dont really care since im not insulting anyone) but really , 1. whats soo good about being an American? Yes, I have freedom of speach, but who really cares what I have to say? If people here only delete my points of view? Does my president care, no he doesnt??? 2. I have the right to vote. Do I really pick out my president?? As far as I know, something went wrong during president Bush's re election in Floriday, wow , hmmm. 3. I have the right to enlist in the military and defend my country. Go over to fight for something that I dont even know what it is?? they were supposed to go over there to find Osama, and went somewhere else, I dont mean to offend anyone in the military. But enlisting in the military is because you want to defend your country. I really admire them for being there, but I also have seen the ones that come back from Iraq injured

Murtha challenged information coming from military leaders, saying, "Because the Pentagon says it, you believe it? You believe what the Pentagon says? ... All the things that they've told us? Go back and look: mission accomplished; al Qaeda connection; weapons of mass destruction. On and on and on and you believe the Pentagon?"

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/11/20/iraq.funding.dems/index.html

Murtha's got a point, doesn't he?
After all of the misinformation fed to the American public from the Pentagon, are we really going to believe them, especially with Bush at the helm?
How much longer can we continue writing Bush "blank checks" ?
SHOULD we keep writing him "blank checks" for the war in Iraq?
Has there ever been a time in history when a leader, president, etc. has cost the country so much due to war, spread our military so thin and in spite of the rising cost of the war has CUT taxes and insisted they remain in place?
Has there ever been a president more destructive?

my ex girlfriend from CA filed a child support for my daughter. she's 7 and lives with her. i tried to settle this out of court but she wont talk to me at all. i live and work in AZ. the thing is im not the kind of Dad that doesn't know his responsibility and dont care 'bout my daughter. anyways, she wont talk to me, i have this form from the child support services to fill up. there's on question there asking visitation agreement. i want my daughter to be with me every non school days. and im callin her to discuss that. the thing is, she wont talk to me. how can i settle this. no idea why she wont talk to me. she has another kid from another relationship. and has a boyfriend who kinda lives with her now and share the same room with my daughter. its a 2 bedroom condo. the room is for her sister and her boyfriend. her condo is under her name. but they pretty much share bills and mortgage. but she might look too broke because court might see the house as her own expenses.

Cons take it as gospel truth, but the facts prove otherwise.

HERE'S WHAT I DID:
I got the real GDP stats from the Bureau of Economic Analyses. I took the percent increase over 4 year intervals. I then ranked them from best to worst. Out of (((18))) 4 year intervals, the supply siders Reagan and Bush Jr ranked 8th, 12th, and 16th.

1 FDR (40') 74.69%
2 FDR (32') 34.62%
3 LBJ (64') 21.81%
4 TRUMAN (48') 21.00%
5 JFK (60') 19.86%
6 FDR (36') 19.32%
7 CLINTON (96')17.87%
8 REAGAN (84') 15.98%
9 CARTER (76') 13.67%
10 CLINTON (92')13.53%
11 IKE (52') 13.45%
12 REAGAN (80') 12.63%
13 NIXON (68') 12.38%
14 IKE (56') 10.91%
15 FORD (72') 10.62%
16 BUSH JR (00')9.03%
17 BUSH SR (88')8.81%
18 TRUMAN (44') -9.04%

http://www.bea.gov/national/xls/gdplev.xls

EXAMPLE CALCULATION

1996, 8,328.90 inflation adjusted billions of dollars
2000, 9,817.00 inflation adjusted billions of dollars

PERCENT CHANGE = (9817.0/8328.9 - 1.0)*100.0 = 17.87%

liberals act as if their intellect is superior to non liberals. they understand human nature, human interaction, human potential, human frailty. they know that god does not exist and that evolutionary processes are responsible for humanity's present place on the evolutionary time scale and that it is up to humans to create the world in which they want to live. okay, i'm fine with all that. my question is, if they are as intelligent as they claim, why do they insist on defying nature and its processes by trying to force everyone to be the same when nature itself dictates extreme diversity. and, not only that, but they champion diversity with their rhetoric all the while demanding (through legislation no less) that we not see or recognize the differences in people and their various cultures. is this simply lip service? i think so...it seems to me, liberals treat minorities, the poor, the homeless and the generally downtrodden as no more than human pets.

If a man lived in a country with a pretty low age of consent (say Canada - 14) and started a relationship online with a girl who was under the age of consent in the country where she lived but over the age of consent in the guy's country (say a 15 year old in the US) would the man be a pedophile and therefore able to be arrested? Because he wouldn't be breaking the law in his country...And what if it was the other way round and an American man was talking to a 15 year old Canadian? This hasn't happened to me or anyone I know but I was just wondering.

Philip is an auditor whos client is SMFL, could anyone plase tell me from reading the small article if there is any breach of professional ethics or if there is something wrong with the auditrors actions or the clients actions ?

On reviewing the files for the firm's largest client, Specialist Metal Fabrications Limited ( SMFL )( annual recurring fees having risen steadily over the last five years to £90,000 pa ), she noted that , due to cash flow problems, the prior year's audit and other fees were still unpaid. Philip, who has been the engagement partner since SMFL was established some ten years ago, has now started to attend the regular monthly board meetings of SMFL and to advise the directors on the
financial position as shown in the management accounts ( also prepared by a separate member of the Braithwaite staff ). From the various file notes, it is evident that SMFL's bank is taking a close interest in it's performance

Did anyone see this story on today's Democracy Now.

Army Wants Wounded Soldiers to Return Bonuses
The Pentagon is forcing thousands of wounded veterans to return signing bonuses they received for joining the army. The military says the injured soldiers aren’t entitled to the money because they didn’t complete their full tour of duty. Jordan Fox of Pennsylvania left the military three months early after being hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq. He sustained back injuries and lost all vision in his right eye. Earlier this month he received a Pentagon letter asking him to return some three thousand dollars in sign-up bonuses. Fox and his mother had recently started a program to send thousands of care packages to servicemembers in Iraq.

After hearing this can anyone still say that support of this administration is Patriotic and Supports our Troops.

I was just reading this article about a man who knew he was HIV positive and he raped a woman. Rape is horrible by itself, but I haven't really decided how I feel about the attempted murder charge on kowing HIV infected perpetrators. Voluntary manslaughter is being grouped in with murder for this topic, btw. Anyway this guy faces two charges of rape, attempted rape, kidnapping and felonious assault. The FELONIOUS assault is because he knew he had AIDS. WTF???!!
