I know how!

Seriously, do a bit of research. What happens in these situations is that people fall into either the very rich or the very poor classes. Its easy to go from the top to the bottom, but almost impossible to go the other way. Unless youre at the top, you need to shoot for a job that will put you in the tiny middle class (which by comparison to today will be doing pretty well). Make sure you dont owe too much cash and all, then find a job that is absolutely necessary. Service jobs will go of course--which is the problem since we're almost entirely a service economy now. Look at who did pretty well in the 30's and plan accordingly.

Good question - the world economy is in free fall - but they're not telling anyone.

The Central Banks of the world are throwing billions daily at the
dzens of insolvent commercial Banks.

One of the biggest banks in Britain has had to apply to the US Federal Reserve because the Bank of England could no longer save it.

1 Secure a food supply - the US has no food security and virtually no stocks

2 arm up

3 form a community that can mutually sustain itself with each others needs -

4 try to get your local government to print its own currency
as a medium of exchange

5 inform others of the true dept of the crisis - there's only a few more months left max before total meltdown

this in the views of many experts may be the deepest in modern history including the 1930s.

Good luck!

Get all of your investments that you may have, buy enough water and food for a year and move to the Rockies, for instance, Idaho!!! That is a very ideal
area for hiding out and getting away from all of the
problems of the country!!

Write a book? The most popular subjects are cats, ghosts, dieting, and astrology. Perhaps you could write The Best Diet for Your Gemini Cat. If it's already been done, that doesn't even matter.

Actually, I think the best way is to spend a lot less than you earn, even if that means moving to a trailer.

Keep your money invested in precious metals, and when the depression hits buy up some of the foreclosed houses, and rent them back to the newly homeless.

The economy is an illusion. It's a house of cards just waiting to freefall. Banks offering every 18 year old college kid under the sun a visa to go out and buy crap is not shoring up our economy. It kind of reminds me of Hurricane katrina in New Orleans.
We knew it was going to happen we just didn't know when it was going to happen. This economy will implode... it's just a matter of time.
Make sure you have some hard currency on you, a food and water cache and guns that are well oiled and zeroed.

I've been depressed about Bush since 2000. I've found that Welbutrin has worked wonders. As far as the economy goes, I hope our next President is the financial savior that we need.

You can't, unless you move to another country. Perhaps one where the president gives a **** about his people.

It's easy to do as you please when you're sitting on millions. It's people like you and me that pay the price.

Where does Mustag live? Here in Michigan it is exactly the opposite of what he said. Bushnomics say its good to ship jobs overseas, "cause den da prices will be cheapar wen we wants to buy somtin".

Problem is when you take our jobs and ship them overseas, "we aint gots no money to buy somtin, cause you done took all da jobs".

Michigan is in a mini-depression right now and the only way we can get through it is to bring more jobs home. Unfortunately, I feel that our plague will spread and the rest of the country will feel it soon.

To answer your question..........pray the next admin cares about the people first and him/herself second!
