UN admits man cant stop global warming because we aren't the cause?
The United Nations' Nobel Prize-winning panel on climate change approved the final installment of its landmark report on global warming on Friday, concluding that even the best efforts at reducing CO2 levels will not be enough and that the world must also focus on adapting to "abrupt and irreversible" climate changes.

My lawyer was already in the process of trying to have my probabtion terminated so i could join the navy. The arresting officer said that if i pospone the case until after my probabtion is up, it would not violate me. and also to pospone the case until i get my liscence reinstated and it will be thrown out. does any of this make sense? im meeting with my lawyer in a few days, but i'm real worried. i don't want to be violated as that would be absolutly horrible and i'll never get my chance to enlist and do something positive. my only flaw is that i can't find rides to work. anyone?

On October 14, 2001, a former Iraqi army captain named Sabah Khodada granted an interview to the PBS television program "Frontline" in which he talked about a terrorist training camp in Iraq called Salman Pak. During this interview Khodada stated, "This camp is specialized in exporting terrorism to the whole world."

Saddam Hussein paid $25,000 bonuses to the families of Palestinian homicide bombers. "President Saddam Hussein has recently told the head of the Palestinian political office, Faroq al-Kaddoumi, his decision to raise the sum granted to each family of the martyrs of the Palestinian uprising to $25,000 instead of $10,000," Iraq's deputy prime minister Tariq Aziz declared on March 11, 2002. Mahmoud Besharat, who dispensed these funds across the West Bank, gratefully said: "You would have to ask President Saddam why he is being so generous. But he is a revolutionary and he wants this distinguished struggle, the intifada, to continue."

If America 'really' won the war of independence with Great Britain, why are you forbidden to have royal titles?

If you look at some of your treaties signed around 1812, you will see that this is the case and that it was also agreed that the US president is subservient to the monarch of England.

If you dig around too, you will also see that the war crippled the US and it is permanently indebted to the British Crown;

The British Crown is not the queen, but a corporation owned and governed by the elite of British banking...

Why would this be if US won the war?

Is that only in the UK, do you think?

"An influx of foreign workers has damaged job security by increasing the number of temporary and short-term posts, said Professor David Blanchflower, a member of the interest-rate setting Monetary Policy Committee.

advertisementHe said the trend was leading to stagnation in long-term growth, with employers using migrants to avoid permanent contract costs such as pension contributions.

Shops, pubs, restaurants and other parts of the service sector are now almost entirely staffed by migrant workers, Prof Blanchflower claimed.

In a memo, he said: "There have been strong increases in temporary workers who can't find permanent jobs and part-timers who can't find full-time jobs. The number of self-employed has also grown at a rate that is clearly unsustainable."

Employment figures reported show that the number of temporary workers in the UK has risen by 12 per cent in the past year, from 355,000 to 400,000.

I got a small fine to pay for a speeding ticket I got in south-west Ontario where I live. My first language is French. On the options I see on the back it says I can choose to appear in court to contest the charges. It also has the option that I get a trial held in French if I wish. My question is: How much of a chance this mostly English neighbourhood small town court, where it would be held, will mobilize a judge, prosecutor, etc... that are all French and the police officer so to force me to pay this $138.75 fine? Please be objective as i will not only get advice from answers provided here.

Thank you.

I mean isn't it bad enough that they are not even supposed to be here, couldn't they at least show a little ounce of respect to our country by just learning the language? They are already, not paying taxes and putting their kids through our school system for free. Look, I know Spanish, I took it for years and I can speak it almost fluently and I know that it is an easier language than English but English is the language of the U.S. When the European and Asian Immigrants came into the U.S. in the early 1900s, they had to learn English. Although many of them kept their other languages they still also learned English. Now pretty much all packaging and instructions have Spanish on them. Why and we accommodating their language? If we didn't then they would have to learn English which they should be doing anyway. Is it really that much to ask of them to learn the language?

Could someone tell me what the process is if I come up positive on a Navy conducted Urinalysis Test? How long will I be in restricted barracks, etc. I am currently an E-6 stationed in Bahrain with six years left on my contract and the only way I can get out of the military is by failing a drug test. Anyone know what the procession is to this and how long it would take to be Admin Separated? I own businesses that net 20k/monthly and other than trying to use the "convenience of the government" method of getting out, this seems to be the only fail proof option.

My friend is a doctor and got a direct commission in the military. He has been on active duty for a total of 3 months now. We were walking to our car in the parking lot at the commissary, and my friend was in uniform. An E7 and a E8 walked by us and didn't even salute him. They completely ignored him.

I know he is just a new Officer, but aren't Soldiers suppose to salute the rank, not the man? I don't see the big deal, why a Soldier doesn't want to lift their hand for 2 seconds and give the proper military courtesy.

My friend didn't care. He actually found it funny and laughed. But as for me, I didn't find it funny at all. He is a Captain and a doctor and deserves the proper respect!

Lets be real here, when i say 'president' lets not get into so much of the title but more of the power. POWER meaning the rule of the United States, the same power a president would have today bask then.

I was recently reading "The Forgotten Presidents" on Free Republic on the internet and thought about the subject. It's caught my attention that some people believe that their where more presidents and some do not. Now, I want the facts. They two things that would help me would be a well worded response and possibly a list of some of the "The Forgotten Presidents" .

I'm not good with politics, so any misleading information would be very unwelcome. Also ask be for a further explanation of my question, especially because I am a little abstract with my words.
