Could you help me with an effective strategy to appeal a disability claim (CA) regarding my pregnancy?

The State of California has denied my first 30 days of benefits
because they said the paperwork was filed too late.

I cannot get help from my company's HRR dept.

I would appreciate any input.

Call the Social Security Administration and ask them!
