My lawyer was already in the process of trying to have my probabtion terminated so i could join the navy. The arresting officer said that if i pospone the case until after my probabtion is up, it would not violate me. and also to pospone the case until i get my liscence reinstated and it will be thrown out. does any of this make sense? im meeting with my lawyer in a few days, but i'm real worried. i don't want to be violated as that would be absolutly horrible and i'll never get my chance to enlist and do something positive. my only flaw is that i can't find rides to work. anyone?

I would definitely speak to your lawyer. I would also find another way to work. Taxis, buses, walking and getting a ride from a friend are a lot cheaper than yet another conviction.

OK. I'm old and you're young so listen up because I've been there.
First of all. Think about your question?
"I'm 4 months away from being off probabtion and got a driving on revoked.?"

Nothing will ever change for you, ever, until you figure out the answer to this question by yourself.
Here are some hints.
Why do YOU suppose you got a driving on revoked when you were only 4 MONTHS away from being off probabtion?
Who do YOU think is the best person available to make sure you do not get a driving on revoked when you are only 4 months away from being off probation?
Suppose, for only a moment, you were to get a break and nothing happens.
How long before YOU get ANOTHER driving on revoked or similar infraction?
Who do YOU think is the best person that could make sure this doesn't happen?

The answer to all of these is....YOU!
When you learn this, things will start working out for YOU.
If you don't...Guess what?

Finding rides to work is NOT your only trouble, friend. You have a lawyer advising you - why don't you consult this person? Speak openly about your concerns, especially regarding your window to enlist. Hard to imagine the military would turn away anyone as anxious to join as you are. But if for some reason you did lose that opportunity, of course there will be others.

If you do intend to ship out, do yourself a favor and read the legal heads-up to military personnel here before you sign on formally:

Good luck.

It makes perfect sense. Your lawyer should be able to help you out with all of this. Cop was nice to not take you in when he pulled you over.
