If America 'really' won the war of independence with Great Britain, why are you forbidden to have royal titles?
If you look at some of your treaties signed around 1812, you will see that this is the case and that it was also agreed that the US president is subservient to the monarch of England.
If you dig around too, you will also see that the war crippled the US and it is permanently indebted to the British Crown;
The British Crown is not the queen, but a corporation owned and governed by the elite of British banking...
Why would this be if US won the war?

"No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state."

The fact that we won the war is consistant with precisely why we rejected the idea of princes and barons.
I've never heard of a post win agreement by the US to have it's president be subservient to the monarch of england. Please provide a link, it would be interesting to see it. But even if it's true, obviously that provision didn't stick now did it?
It's ok to get over the loss to the United States. I think enough time has gone by to warrant a surrender to that fact.

George Washington was offered a crown, and he refused, expressing his wish that royal titles not be a part of the new country he had liberated from the despotic George III. It has been an American tradition ever since. Aristocrats who emigrate here (generally exiles) are allowed to retain their titles, but to my knowledge, do not pass them on. Of course, the wealthy here entertain their own fantasies of noble birth, and have conspired against the rest of us to maintain their fortunes and perpetuate their aspirations to kingly status. So we have a "closet" nobility of robber "barons" and delusional rich kids. That may even be worse...

Nicely put, but I wouldn't expect many serious answers to this one. In my experience many Americans are not widely versed in their own history or are at least taught it incorrectly. After all many still think that 1812 was a US victory or that the UK was invaded by the Nazis.
