I think Romney since he is a business man, more conservative, and is not pro amnesty. I'm gonna vote for him in the primary. He is tough on terrorist. I do not like his religion though. Who do you think would do better?

Why is it when liberal censor someone, it is considered for the good of the community, but when conservatives censor someone, it is seen as an evil conspiracy?

For decades women have fought for equal rights such as being able to vote, run for office, join the army, get federal benefits for education and work and they have just about everyone one of these rights. More laws have been created such as equal opportunity and equal rights to ensure these rights. However it seems that some people tend to forget that equality should be applied in all cases. For one I think women should have to take the responsiblity that all men do and sign up for selective service. Two in america it seems that a woman can come into the relationship with no education, no money, and yet marry a guy and leave with half including the house. Three laws need to be tough are on both ends. We are willing to take away the future for a man if he commits a crime such as sleep with someone under the age of the law but if a woman does the same we are quick to make excuses that she was molested or beaten in the past by a family or family member.

I responded to an questioned that indirectly compared Al Queda to "fundamentalist ultra-conservatives, like Republicans," and was removed, simply because I critiqued liberals and they're hatred for Bush while they continue to do nothing in the Congress and the Senate. Is Yahoo! Answers biased against anyone speaking against liberal loons?

Approximately 200 years ago, France sold the U.S. a large amount of land, including New Orleans, which was built on ground that was sinking. It would have flooded a long time ago if the U.S. had not built levies that held back the Atlantic Ocean until 2005. Contrary to the popular opinion that the levies caused the flooding, the city would have flooded many years earlier if the levies were not built.

Can the U.S. sue France for any or all of the following:
The difference between what New Orleans would have been worth if it was not sinking and what it was actually worth
The damage that would have happened if the levies were never built
The cost of building the levies
The damage that happened when even the levies were not enough

Is there a statute of limitations?
Does the statute of limitations require suit be filed within a certain amount of time of the date of the original transaction, the date that the U.S. became aware of the problem, or the date that the flooding began?

I mean is there an off button somewhere?

In an interview that waif of a woman said...

DEUTSCH: You said -- your exact words were, "Jews need to be perfected." Those are the words out of your mouth.
COULTER: No, I'm saying that's what a Christian is.
DEUTSCH: But that's what you said -- don't you see how hateful, how anti-Semitic --
COULTER: No!
DEUTSCH: How do you not see? You're an educated woman. How do you not see that?
COULTER: That isn't hateful at all.

Ok guys I am disturbed and have a outpouring of compassion for some of these troops that come back with a leg or arm blown off, but theres a few videos Ive seen recently with peoples whole faces, ears, arms, scalp in addition to arms and legs blown off too. These are permanetly SEVERELY disfigured people.

Why is it these people have to have their faces blown off and forever look like that to never have a girlfriend again or a normal life at a young age when some get to go to elitist schools like Yale and Harvard and get jobs that pay 80 grand plus post grad year?

Doesnt it make you mad? Oh but wait...the media reports showing the injuries of the troops are LARGELY suppressed. If people saw their injuries and what they had to go through, I dont think nearly as many republicans would have supported this war.

Just ask yourself...How many congressmen and senators actually have kids who are serving in Iraq.....

Thanks and peace

I listen to these candidates say Universal Health Care...Yeah...I listen to persons in Nevada who are fighting over water rights because of drought. They are aware of the problems in farming because of climate change. I have candidates who are beating Iraq to death with promises.... and so.... what about energy ... Nevada wants to build coal minds yet some say solar energy as they fight over water and the realization that jobs need to be sacrificed in order to restructure and adapt to the changes for survival. I have not heard one candidate even suggest we need to evaluate and reconstruct farm land maybe even change where we grow food. Who will do this work? Immigrants? The ones the government ignores and hopes will go back to where they belong or put in jail. What about Freedom Corp? Can they assist in training and identification of illegals so as they can be an asset to growing food to benefit everyone? Anyone hear about a candidate and any government programs that will assist ?

My question is when an illegal immigrant is caught by the proper authorities and brought to holding units prior to being sent back to their country of origin why are they not given the option to fill out the proper paper work to get them a work visa and the start the paper work to become a naturalized citizen?

It has been reported that illegal immigration has caused many problems in the United States, decrease in wages, lowered standard of living, and higher crime rates.

This seems to be common sense. This would allow the “future” citizen to pay taxes and have the same rights as all Americans. Fines for entering the country illegally could be attached to the “future” citizens taxes.

Yet they say they support him because of his leadership?
Almost no one knows what he did when the terrible incident occurred, but the same people who know nothing claim that he managed the situation well (then, of course, they can't elaborate).

I think all Americans who plan on voting for Giuliani should know that NYC firefighters HATE Giuliani for sending them up 90 flights of stairs in a burning building with heavy equipment and causing the death of 343 of their men and women.
