You should learn to spot untruths when you hear them. It is very well established (by other countries as well as the US) that AIDS started in Africa, possibly as a zootic disease (transmitted from animal to human).

LOL....you should give whoever told you that a tin-foil hat their paranoia is showing!!!

HIV is believed to have arisen by the mutation of a virus that had been endemic in wildlife in some areas of central Africa. Genetic studies have led to the conclusion that HIV-2 is a mutation of simian immunodeficiency virus, and more recent studies have shown a similar link for HIV-1 (the primary virus found in people worldwide). It is believed the virus began to infect humans by the infected animals being eaten.

The earliest recorded case of AIDS is from a patient in the Belgian Congo (now the Dem Republic of Congo) in 1959. First confirmed case outside of Africa was a Norwegian sailor who died in 1976.

And Elvis lives, JFK was murdered by the US Gov, the Air Force has Aliens, it is all BS, AIDS is not an effective BIO Weapon so why would it be created by the American Military? AIDS, takes up to years to kill, the Military's BIO weapons kill in seconds or at the most a day or two, not 5 to 10 yrs. So why would they create a BIO weapon so useless when they had deadlier weapons. Just conspiracy theory that is all.

No, you would be given them too much credit of intelligence. you would have to know how viruses take a host and use the host's DNA to make copies in order to understand why it's so hard to find a cure for them and why they seem so advanced. Also, most of the technology used to create any sort of biological engineering wasnt much advanced to work with something as small as a virus.
If I had to put a good theory out there I would say the outbreaks of disease like polio here in the US and small pox and such in other countries called for quick medicice. Animal serum is used to cultivate the cures. Without the knowledge of viruses it would easily make its way into the human body...that and ofcourse the transition of the glass syringe which was used multiple times on patients while adminitering the medicine to the plastic disposable syringe which was still used multiples times before disposal on third world countries to save on money and material.
this is as basic as I can put it...and yes, my studies revolve around it

Urban legend. Not even a very good one.

The truth - that the AIDS virus was transmitted from monkies to humans in Africa also conjures up improbable scenarios, though. To clear that up, in Africa, people hunt and eat monkeys. The virus was most likely caught by someone who was butchering a monkey.

I hope you don't believe it. If you do enough research, you'd know that the first case of AIDS was stone ages before the Vietnam war. Okay- not literally stone ages, you might believe that too....

No, that's not true at all. President Nixon had the US Biological Warfare department closed and no one has reopened it other than defensive measures.
