Sounds like you may have been slammed by individuals that did not like your response. I am assuming you did not hateful statements, cuss, use words like --never, always, stupid, dumb--, you did not threaten and etc.
I really don't understand the rules and the enforcement, because in this section and others I find numerous questions and answers that are "chatty and troll" in nature. I also, see good answers getting thumbs down, but just appear that the individuals giving the thumbs down did not like an opposing view.
I have been told you have a right to appeal the Yahoo decision? Did they tell you what specific rule you violated?
Did they give you any warnings about prior rule violations?
It would be nice to know, so one could correct the error of their ways.
Please email if they gave you this option. I really would like to know.

YA uses an algorithm that is user-driven to determine what gets put off the board. It is nothing personal about you from the Yahoo staff as they never really see the questions. Based on your follow up question I can see why people got made although it's really not against the terms of use.

Dozens of people got removed - conservatives and liberals both.
There has been a crackdown either of trolls and false accusations or yahoo is cracking down on rudeness.
Which do you think?

people report people. Some are just kids with nothing else to do. Yahoo doesn't always 'investigate' its complaints. They just
'remove' until they DO investigate....
It all depends on who is answering these questions or asking these questions. Grown people do silly things...

Nope. I asked a question "why are republicans racist?" and it got removed, so Y!A is not biased.
