The "terrorists" hate our freedoms so our government says that we have to give up a little bit of our freedom for security. Well doesn't that mean that the "terrorists" have effectively won their war on our freedoms by proxy?

I am writing a story, in which a victim of an attack wants to confront his attacker in jail (for closure). Is this allowed or would this 'taint' the case for trial?

I want to make this story believeable. I am at a point where I see a couple ways of going. It depends on if this victim is able to confront or not....

Thanking you in advance.

It's so interesting to see the comments about Hillary Clinton. Lots of her opponents here call her ugly, a dyke, a lesbian, unfeminine, power hungry, too aggressive and use the B word a lot, as if being pretty, feminine and demure were necessary qualities to hold public office if you're female. But at the same time, people call her too weak, say she's too prone to cry, worry about her menstrual cycle, and say other things that suggest she's not strong enough to wield the power of the presidency.

It seems like we want women candidates to be simultaneously the image of feminine beauty and at the same time tough s.o.b.s Do we set impossible standards for women candidates?

question:
According to the commission, were the riots criminal acts? If so, who were the criminals? If not, why not?

Islam has two faces: 'moderate' and 'extreme'. These 'two faces' have been designed to throw the host countries (which they have invaded) off the scent of the true agenda of Islam, which is to make EVERY human on EARTH abide by Sharia lawa. THEY WILL OVERWHELM EUROPE WITH SHEER NUMBERS, and everyone who does not comply WILL be allowed to live in these new Muslim lands, but will have to pay a special 'kuffar' tax, and be classed as second rate citizens, or in some cases slaves. It's all in their books. Also I have learned of the lies (or AL TAKIYAH) which islam employs to keep their safe status in european countries.

This is what the old europeans in spain were faced with, a nice moderate helpful muslim community... or so they thought!

But this community was only there to lie and commit al takiyah, to soften people for the planned coming of the radicals from morocco.

THE QUESTION IS:

CONVERT OR DIE?

My husband has a 10 year old son. In 2002 the birth mother (Alicia) let her parents adopt him for questionable reasons. I have the papers that my husband never signed. But there was a court date and he was unaware, didn't show and the adoption went through. I contacted her to see the child for the benefit of my children and she eventually agreed. She told the child that my husband was his father. She then preceeded to try to get my husband to leave me for her even though she's married too. Anyways, now we can't see the child. There is some question whether her parents still have custody or if she got her rights back and let her currents husband adopt him. I'm not sure what good this info will do me. But right now I'm just trying to figure out whatever I can to see what our options might be. This child now knows about his father and I feel like we should do something. Am I going to be able to obtain this info? I don't know if the adpt. was sealed or open. Any thoughts?

La Raza or other pro-illegal immigration organizations required to step up and pay the bill?

Why, instead, are we told there is nothing we can do about it, that we have to pay because the other party cannot...even when they are found guilty?

Whether you vote for a Right Wing money grubbing baffon, or a Left Wing homo supporting chimp, will it effect the way that you live your day to day life? I see where people become so enthralled with trying to prove why their side is the right one that they don't read between the lines and see that we are all getting screwed by our government. There will be so much money being spent on this election and we still have people that will be without a roof over their heads or food in their bellies. The cost of oil will only continue to go up and instead of buring methane, which is produced in every landfill all accross this great rock, we are going to keep killing brown people accross the world because we need the rights to that damned oil.

Americans will keep baa-ing like the sheep they are and not speak up with a thundering roar that would shake our nation's capital to the core. We need the spirit of 1776!!!!

So how will the outcome of the next election effect you?

The American (United States Justice System) Vs. Canadian. Why is that the American's have the death penalty, more people on death row, many people in prisons across the nations. Whereas in Canada, the violence rate is much more lower, no death penalty, no death row. And the intensity of crimes is much higher?? Example, A few have gone out and killed there pregnant wives, and now they are being lined up to be executioned. How does this make sense??

when someone is sentenced to death, why does it take years to carry the sentence out?a case in america took 25 years before the sentence was finalised.was this not more cruel than his crime, keeping him alive, not knowing if the next day was going to be his last for 25 years?sure the death penalty is not a deterent to murder, nore is prison to criminals, that why jails are overcrowded and there are hundreds on death row,but it is a punishment.get jail same day when found guilty,of an ordinary crime, why not execution the next day when found guilty of murder???.

Or is her voting record one of a centrist? Are there sites that guage such things, to say who is the most / least left or right leaning Senator/Representative?
I am not a fan of Hillary, but in 2004 (many on) the right said "Look at JOHN KERRY'S voting record. He is as Liberal as they get."
I am just curious if the same standard can be applied if Hillary gets the Dem's nod in 2008.

Thank You!
