I'm sorry, but until Democrats stop promoting mass murder, religious intolerance, unnatural reproductive behaviour, and blatant cowardice, they will not get my vote (whether they are honest or not). While my selection of Republicans is not much better this time around, I would still avoid a Democrat exclusively because everything their party platform stands for is in direct conflict with any moral person's stand.

Putting aside the obviously hypothetical nature of your question ("honest" Republican indeed!), if I'm forced to support a dishonest Republicrat because Kucinich didn't get the nomination, it will be a pragmatic decision, knowing that even a bad Democrat is better than a "good" Republican (or a "good" bin Laden, for that matter).

Of course, what nobody seems to have noticed is the biggest insult of all, the first two words of this post, "Be honest." Mighty strong language coming from a member of the most sociopathic political persuasion that ever existed!

Anyway, lees, if you were surprised by the fact that GWB lied, you must have been too young to remember his old man and his brother Neil (the one who embezzled from Silverado, unlike Jeb, who embezzled from a different S&L). With everything the Bush Crime Family has its fingers in, it's no wonder they had to invent a bunch of wild stories about the Clintons to distract Americans with short attention spans.

Twisted Blister, or whatever your name is: Mike can Huckaduck for all I care. No theocrap is getting my vote. Anyone who blasphemes the Bible with fundamentalism is bound to blaspheme the Constitution too.

Absolutely an honest Republican every time...

I don't just robotically go to the polls and push the Big glowing "Democrat" button, you know....

For instance, my Governor Charlie Crist (although I voted for the other guy) has turned out to be much better than Jeb Bush EVER was...
The Republicans really scored big time with Charlie.

But USUALLY I look at the dems first because I just agree with most of the party lines.
I won't vote for someone I find to be a liar but I won't take a lying Republican's word for it either...

If someone is a PROVEN liar and traitor (like Nixon) then I do not want them in MY party either...

There is no such thing, only if you smoke wacky tobaccy will you see this ellussion. We in america need to get back to being americans instead of the team mentality of them verses us. There are varying degrees of honesty and manipulation as well as greed among other traits, and if you are human we all have these traits. If we can be honest, we can label all politicians the same way. Quit being so judgemental and almighty self rightious. Being republican doesn`t give you that right over others. This mentality puts a bad name on being a neocon. Thank you very much!

It's unlikely I'd vote Republican. If if there's an honest one, that doesn't mean they'd do the right things for the citizens of this country.

Your question seems to assume that all dems are dishonest and repubicans aren't, which is clearly false.

Republicans are actually not opposing the president consistent along with his social gathering. they are adversarial to him because of the fact of his projects and those of the unconventional left that has taken over congress. whilst he does the remarkable element, Republicans have supported him as replaced into the case whilst he greater troop stages in Afghanistan. yet whilst he or his congress does something epically stupid, as they have with wellness care, they oppose them. Democrats are plenty the same way, yet tend to be greater 'social gathering' orientated. nevertheless, Bush have been given an incredible style of bipartisan help. of course a lot of his projects had democrat roots, such because of the fact the prescription drug debacle or his push to grant amnesty to illegals, yet nevertheless the help replaced into bipartisan. So, no. i do no longer think of an self reliant might make a distinction. You do the remarkable element, you will get the help. Obama hasn't yet grasped this substantial actuality of existence.

An honest Republican? Why don't you throw in some other fictional creature like a unicorn? I haven't seen an honest Republican since Gerald Ford. Ever since Reagan, the entire Republican agenda has been a lie. They tell us they want smaller government and less spending, but they intrude into our private lives, try to change the Constitution to oppress us further, and spend more money than any Democrat ever thought about spending. I used to believe in the Republican party in the pre-Reagan years, but now the entire party is hypocritical and dishonest by nature.

There will be those who say there is no such thing as a dishonest Democrat or and honest Republican.

For a change I'd just like to see a moderate President. Democrat or Republican makes no difference to me.

About that known liar. I don't think any politician will directly lie to you. *LOL* But they won't tell you ALL the truth either.

Find one and I might consider voting for her/him. Here's the thing: any American citizen will vote for what political policy benefits their family.

What they've discovered in the last seven years is that Republicans favor multi-national corporations and the globalist agenda rather than families in the US.

Families and their well-being are under attack, and they have been ignored and denigrated in these last seven years. If you scoured the country and found an honest Republican, s/he has still lost their credibility because of the current administration's antics and probably wouldn't earn the votes of the citizens anyway.
