Yes, they never specify WHAT lesson has been learned so that we can examine their later record nor can they ever point to an instance where whatever was learned was put into practice. I think these so called administrators are worse than the politicians. They think they are smart but what happens? They either end up shooting an innocent man, practically bankrupting a bank or presiding over the spread of another super bug. Their career always takes precedence over the job they are supposed to be doing.

i cant understand why we put up with this lesson learned garbage. the home office have been saying it 5 times a year for as many years now. and are still making exactly the same mistakes. if the people of Britain would only get pro active, we could put a stop to all of their lies and dishonesty.....stupid people should not hold down top jobs, especially when peoples lives are at risk. the sooner new labour go the better. trouble is!! the other two parties will only deliver much of the same.

It makes my blood boil. Social workers use it expertly every single time some poor child dies the most horrendous of deaths because the Social workers missed the bruises, and countless hospital stays of the child. Police use it when they shoot someone dead in cold blood - and then try and lie to the public. The truth is, they simply do not care - harsh but so true. For instance, if a social worked actually cared about a child's welfare - how can they ignore the obvious with such ease?

Politicians have a bunch of stock answers for every given situation/occasion. When an 'event' happens, they trot out the usual bunch of inane stupidities. "Lessons have been learnt" being one of their fave stock answers to almost any situation, especially one where lots of deaths occur, such as 7/7 etc. or 9/11 NYC - a date which will live in infamy - to quote a real American.

What exactly does a phrase like "lessons have been learnt" actually mean? It's about as meaningful as "never give up giving up", whatever that's supposed to mean.

Politicians for the most part are hand-wringers who do not know what to do in a crisis. In order to sound like they're "doing something", they waffle on and out come the stock phrase books for every situation.

With any luck it will rain. Of course it will stoopid, rain happens, right!

the themes we are dealing with on the instantaneous, specifically unlawful immigration, wars in Iraq and elsewhere, and wasteful spending to call some, are issues our leaders must be looking after, no longer bickering about. i ought to help any determination our leaders make in the journey that they could basically start up making them. Politicians in recent times, i think, are dishonoring the individuals of u . s . through no longer somewhat representing them. they could guard their structures properly yet i favor to be sure some action. they are causing a rift between the yank human beings through letting those themes flow unresolved and the rift is purely going to get more suitable with each and each and every new challenge we are dealing with. ultimately we are going to all attain our snapping factor and demand action. If each and every annoyed American ought to call or write a letter to our leaders they could be so beaten with grievance they could ought to do something, doesn't they? We as taxpaying electorate favor to call for action as this u . s . is through the individuals for the individuals and that i imagine our leaders have forgotten that.

Its just the same old meaningless twaddle they come out with when once again they have proved they are not up to the job. The name of the game is cover up and keep the lucrative job and bollocks to the people who put us here.

I think our only hope is David Cameron. He has the heart to do the right thing. Inexperience is his weakness but I do believe he wants to make Britain a better place and not line his own pockets. I think he's honest: A man of Principle.: A gentleman.

Not only am I sick with them saying that, I am sick with them thinking they can pull the wool over the electorate's eyes. They must think we are all stupid and believe their lies.
