Lou Dobbs has published his belief - that - the next elected leader of the USA will be an 'independent' . . . neither a Democrat or Republican . . . but one who has not yet declared candidacy.

How does one write in their person of choice, on a ballot?

I vote for Lou Dobbs . . .!!!

The Washington Post thinks the idea is a big joke. But then nowadays, the Washington Post thinks peace and democracy themselves are big jokes.

If you do not know about it, I'll link the DHS site on it.

Essentially, it is a state-required card, needed for anything government regulated like public airplanes, passports etc. It will be part of your Drivers License but also include your social security number. To me, thusfar, it doesn't sound too different from a regular Drivers License. But, it also -may- have a tracking device. On the one hand, kinda creepy...on the other, if you are kidnapped or someone is known to be a suspect of a crime, wouldn't it be nice if they could be easily found?
What do you think about it? Pros, cons? Information they should or should not include?

We had less crime.
We had a cleaner environment.
We weren't in unilateral wars. Kosovo was done with ally help.

I know he is a caring religeous man. Its hard hard work to run up a deficit, but going to Pakistan would possibly bring bliss to the religeous right with the Armegeddon. It would erase the defecit and Democrats. Boy, Bush may be smarter than the shoe size IQ I give him credit for.

They do not represent the interests of the people of the USA. They seem oblivious to the problems their actions/inactions create in our lives. They seem to truly believe it is okay to not enforce our laws. Why aren't both the Democrats and Republicans stamping their feet and demanding that our ports and borders are secured? Why aren't they at least investigating price fixing with prescription drugs, oil, etc ? Why are they okay with a few media conglomerates taking over all media outlets in America? Why do they believe the middle class should pay with their tax dollars for costs they don't want, such as billions to Pakistan, rebuilding of Iraq after the Iraqis blow up their country, Schips for adults with children making middle class wages and making select groups of people pay for it, perks and social services for illegal immigrants, outrageous salaries to mercenaries in Iraq subsequent to unmonitored no bid contracts, thievery of billions of tax dollars, etc. ?

I wonder how closely the cost of a barrel of oil matches the loss the US dollar against the Euro. How much has the price of a barrel in Euros risen?

I embrace what the founding fathers envisioned. I've WORKED long and hard. Served my country proudly. I've never stepped on or opressed anyone, I have encouraged instead.I've surounded myself with lifes rewards. A home vintage hot rods, land, etc etc...I pay my taxes,my bills and other obligations. The free market system (capitalisn ) has rewarded me. Now socialists say I'm evil, I have to much, it's not fair, big business is no good. I ask you why is living the American dream wrong?

She is a pill addict. We argue constantly. She's starting to bring strange men in. She almost caught the house on fire last night, because of pills. I'm the one that went into debt to move into this house. She pays no bills. We got into it last week, she attacked me, so I defended myself. She then went to the ER, filed a report & threatened to take a warrant on me. I've talked to the landlord, both of our names are on the lease & they say they refuse to get in the middle of family disputes. Like I said, she's on the lease. I don't own the house, I don't think I can legally "evict" her. What can I do?

The government has passed counter-terrorism policies that have changed our society beyond all recognition.

Is it fair that the terrorists should be allowed to have the power to transform government policy without going through the peaceful political process?

Or should our society be constructed around the majority of us non-terrorists?

There seems to be something wrong with how the federal government calculates the cost of living increases to give to the elderly in their Social Security checks.

The price for fuel oil has shot up to over $3.00 per gallon. Yet, Social Security checks hardly go up at all.

How can the elderly be expected to survive while energy prices go up so much?

I am in a ghost investigation group, and we recently had to let a member go, shes disabled and it would of been a lot of work for her in the group, ex: walking, stairs, without her wheelchair and so forth. Most homes ya go into would look silly bringing in a wheekchair, anyways shes now disgruntled over the whole thing and says shes gonna sue, so if she did, she wouldnt get anything, we dont have any money for her. Sorry for the rambling, just want some thoughts on it.
