Hmmm... why do you assume it hasnt been over for about 15 years? The Coldwar was indeed a war.. albeit more of an economic war, but the entire world was involved. The US won btw. Just because there isnt a WW in front of the War on Terror, doesnt mean its NOT a world war. Every nation has SOME role in this war whether they choose to be active participants or not.
But whats really disturbing is your assumption that it will be a "republican" who will start a global war. I really wasnt aware that Bin Laden had become a member of the "Vast Rightwing Conspiracy" That is of course what your driving at. Bush Caused This War.. right? Wrong. Bush unfortunately had to DEAL with it, but this war started while CLINTON was in the White House. And Clinton could have chose to end it as well.. but declined. Our Special Ops units had Bin Ladens head in their sights, and Clinton refused to pull the trigger. Less than 2 years later we were ATTACKED on our own soil by men funded and blessed by Bin Laden.
As for whos a participant in this current war... Id like to remind you that YOU are. An Active Participant as well. Every dime you drop into your gas tank at the gas station assists the war on terror... for the TERRORIST'S side.
Please... think things through before assuming anything.

You are fooling yourself, if you believe it hasn't already started. It wasn't started by Republicans. It was started even before 9/11. by a very evil and sinister group of vicious Islamo-fascists That was simply the time when we could no longer ignore the fact that we were under attack. By the way, it's not bad to fight evil. I wish God's speed to the troops fighting it. I'm glad I could clear this up for you.

I will hope that it doesnt come to that. If it does theres little anyone could do besides hope for the best. Either way, I will support my country as I always have. In other words, I wont enable our enemies by preaching and parroting anti Bush sentiment. I didnt especially like former President Clinton but I still showed the man respect and supported him as our Commander and Chief.

World War III ended in 1990. It was also called the Cold War. Vietnam, Korea and all the minor engagements where encompassed into it. We are in the midst of the World War IV, also called the War on Terror.

The GOP isn't looking to start WWIII. The Islamic terrorists are the ones doing the provoking. Americans should be proud that we are standing up to the terrorists. If WWIII begins, there probably will be a draft to supplement the military ranks. Most Americans would willingly go anyway to fight for our freedoms.
