Like if a Senator gets elected and does their job by sponsoring bills, etc, would you consider that an accomplishment?

Do you think that Senator should get an award for doing what they were elected to do?

Do you think that just doing your job is merit enough to qualify you for bigger things?

Maybe its yours, maybe it isn't yours. But anyway, you're in big trouble. When you're riding in the police car on the way to the station, the cop offers to release you if you, well, you know.

What would you do?

Israel is a very small country, less than half the size of San Bernardino County, California. Its Jewish population is approximately 3.5 million, just about the population of Iowa. Compare that to the 22 Arab states, armed to the teeth, and virtually all of them in a state of war with Israel. They have over 140 million inhabitants and a land area larger than that of the United States. From its founding, Israel had to fight every day for its very survival. Of course this has been no problem because the Arabs live in like 10 b.c.

Do Muslims needs more land? Look what they have done with the land they have? It's like a GIECO Caveman Commercial. Why not leave the only advanced society in the Middle East alone?

My husband was medically discharged from the military, and we were treated horribly by his unit. No soldier and/or family should have to go through what we went through. I cannot go into detail about our situation, I'm sorry. If we can help anyone else, we want to. How do I/we become a veteran advocate?

Then it would have been harder for the US to enter the European war without that staging area to launch an invasion. The Nazis could have used Irish and Spanish allied military units to help police England with the Germans overseeing them. This way, they would not have had a fractured front on either side. They could have attacked Russia after consolidating their gains in the west.

ok so heres the situation, I'm still a minor but i'm enrolled in a great program called Young Marines (boy scouts on steroids we like to say) an my friend who recruited me and i are going to school tomorrow in our cammy. I'm PFC he's First Sergeant so he is a NCO. So i plan to be real official and do everything by the book just to annoy him. he has PE first period so he's won't be in uniform but i will. So my question is, do i still salute a NCO if they are out of uniform? Can I just act like I don't know he's nothing at all because he isn't showing I.D that proves he's my superior. (by the way i go to a private school so i won't be getting into any trouble at all, unless my teachers have something to say)

Set aside from the obvious argument of is it appropriate or not. With Gov. Rick Perry signing a bill earlier this month that authorizes an immediate ban on protests at military funerals in Texas. Isn't this a ban on free speech perhaps under the guise of a noble cause.
Rick Perry has been accussed of many crimes and come forward admitting to the accussations but remains immune from prosecution. So Rick Perry is not a credible person to listen too in the first place.
If you decide to take the side of Rick Perry, remember NWO, Bilderberg, North American Union. Isn't eliminating free speech a great move for a terrorist leader?

Prison Break - a good show, right up until the part where they have to pin a party label on which is the corrupt party. the Republicans of course

24 - A great show from the early beginnings, began to lose me3/4 through the first season. Still, they managed to keep politics out for what, 3 or 4 seasons. After that, they couldn't resist painting the bad guys as the Republicans once again.

Countless other shows have gone this route. Some shows, like the West Wing, were never anything but Liberal propoganda machines. I don't even think all Democrats agreed with the positions held up as "the correct way to go" every time.

They best not follow suit with Lost and Heroes, I get enough liberal crap from the mainstream media.

I read where the USS Kennedy won the Marjorie Sterrett Battleship Fund Award in 1974 and 1979 . Can I somehow pin down the month and day this award is given out ? I also know the USS Kennedy underwent a yearlong overhaul from late 1978 to 1979 . Does anybody know what month this overhaul began and the month it ended ? How can I find out ?
