Let me start by saying I'm very much a Democrat... but he seems to be one of the most logical Conservatives I've come across.. I was thinking of picking up his book, Heroic Conservatism, and seeing what he is all about... anyone have any opinions or has anyone here read his book yet?

lol, well this is really my pic :) and pip is my real nickname... so at the very least you can say I'm not afraid to show people who I really am :)... plus most ladies seem to like the way I look.. and that's good enough for me :P

Well, from the other side of the pond, I'll have to say I have not heard of him. That probably has to do with the fact that he's a logical conservative, in your opinion. It seems lately that logic is not a welcome front for conservatives in the media, I will have to check this Gerson out.

I didn't see MJ Gerson, but did see Ron Paul on the Tonight Show last night. Interesting to say the least...the guy wants to abolish the IRS, but says somehow...that he can fund all the civil maintenance costs in this country. yeah right.

It seems that he is a religious person that understands that the Bible is more than hating gays.
This man worked as a speechwriter for George Bush. If Bush seems to have empathy in his speeches, it is because Gerson put it there.
