Prison Break - a good show, right up until the part where they have to pin a party label on which is the corrupt party. the Republicans of course
24 - A great show from the early beginnings, began to lose me3/4 through the first season. Still, they managed to keep politics out for what, 3 or 4 seasons. After that, they couldn't resist painting the bad guys as the Republicans once again.
Countless other shows have gone this route. Some shows, like the West Wing, were never anything but Liberal propoganda machines. I don't even think all Democrats agreed with the positions held up as "the correct way to go" every time.
They best not follow suit with Lost and Heroes, I get enough liberal crap from the mainstream media.

LatexSol,
Was there ever such a show to begin with? As far back as "All In The Family", still a great show, it leans left all the time. Same with "MASH" and lots of others. Can you name me 5 TV series since the 70's, or even earlier, that were conservative leaning?

With musicians, it's a little different. That's like another form of poetry and the individuals views are likely to come out. I'm not much of a Springstien fan, but I really like Neil Young and not all his songs are political "Sugar Mountain", "I am a Child", "Old Man", "Heart of Gold". I expect a little personal belief in their art. In some of the shows I mentioned, it adds nothing to know the political affiliation of the "bad guys"

Yes, I wish that hollywood would stick to entertainment because every time one of these shows include politics, or an actor spews off his/her venom, they make themselves look like morons.
LatexSol...have you ever met anyone who would say that they are satisfied with the programming on television? I have not. I hear a lot of "there is nothing on", but never hear "what a great season for television." Most people are watching the programming that sucks the least.

Sounds like you've never been to a Springsteen or Neil Young concert. They play a song or two then preach to the already smoked-up thousands about their ultra-liberal views. It's like subliminal messaging. Then again, most of these guys are pretty much forgotten and over the hill anyway. No doubt they'll be playing at that freak show known as the Democratic National Convention!
TO VOODOOPUNK: I couldn't have said it better myself-actually I DIDN'T. Stay in touch!

They ARE doing it on Heroes. The poor latin brother and sister, if they can only get to America everything will be o.k.. But wait the evil redneck Minutemen have stopped them and are going to hurt them, poor latinos they haven't done anything wrong (except kill a few people). NBC is destroying that show.
Claire's story should be called "Super Hills". This years plot stinks....so far.
The worst kind of propaganda is the kind you do not notice right away.

Don' forget Boston Legal. It is an entertaining show but almost always disparages Conservatives. William Shatner plays the most conservative role. He is played more like a cartoon character and is said to have "mad cow disease". Ridiculous!

The only one I watch of that list is Heroes and I'm hoping they keep it like it is. Though, you could look at the Sacrificing yourself for the greater good theme as politics...
Nah, I'm not going to dwell on it and just going to mindlessly enjoy the only show I actually make time for every week.

Not just TV shows, but movies too. I saw Man of the Year in the theatre, and thought it was a good (maybe more of a strong OK) movie until they started throwing the corrupt voting machine conspiracy theory in there. I almost walked out at that point.

If Hollywood starts slamming a candidate it is usually the one I vote for. They are actors they get played to play a role just so happens the employers are liberal zealots.

It is annoying but it's what we have to deal with thanks to the flaming libs in Hollywood. If a show gets too political I just move on and find something else. The last thing I want is some Hollywood dropout trying to manipulate me and other viewers with their juvenile political opinion. Libs will tell you you're being too sensitive. That it's just a show. But of course they rarely have to deal with a conservative bias in their favorite tv show.

YES! I rarely watch network shows and quit watching Law and Order when they would take a news story and change the races involved to fit their agenda. They are also ruining 'Weeds'.
