I am 17 and I recently got pulled over becuase "my speed was not reasonable and prudent", i went around back of a plaza going a reasonable speed (no posted speed limit) and there was a new york trooper sitting facing toward the opposite way (radaring i suppose since he was facing a major highway) and i slowed down even even though i wasn't going that fast and i drove past him and he pulled me over and i got a ticket and what not. The ticket i got did not say i was going over a certain speed or anything, it just said "my speed was not reasonable and prudent". I'am pleading not guilty, should i fight the ticket out in court?

It's a given that your party has provided respected leaders. Bush is indefensible. When will you, Republican leaders and the right-wing media start a meaningful discussion of George Bush's ineptitude? The longer the relapse...the better the chances of a Democrat sweep in 2008.

Conservatives have faith that the media is honest, and that our the corporate control of the media is just good business. They have faith in the voting counts,...They trust that america is the good guys and would never abuse our power to pillage weaker countries resources... creating hatred and terrorism for us...

A lib has no faith in corporations or the elite.. or the length the wealthy will go for their own power and profit motive... even war-profiteering... we do not trust the elections to be true or the media to tell the truth..

WHO is right? faith or no faith.... trusting or not trusting?

No ???(for you libs/dems) I thought you people were "progressive" (looking ahead).....Liberals blabbering about Bush these days are looked upon as "has-been thinkers" to America`s thinkers today....It`s time to "move on" as so many of you silly libbies say........Challenge America with your thoughts on on our future. Stop being so lazy.

You don't have to say who, if you don't wish to, but it might be enjoyable if you did. I thought to perhaps have a little fun today and lighten the mood just a wee bit? Have fun guys, and gals, it is Halloween, after all! I am not going to thumbs up, or down on this question, myself, I'm just going to let it ride. Please tell us why they are your favorite? Thanks.

Happy Halloween, America! God Bless USA!

In presenting the Silver Star to Chiarini, Marine Brig. Gen. David H. Berger said Chiarini displayed a type of courage virtually impossible for people on the sidelines of war to understand.

“He reacted the way he did for one simple reason: to take care of the Marine at his right and the Marine to his left. Simple as that. … He would not let his fellow warriors down. He used himself to protect his comrades. We can not ask anything more.”

Chiarini’s commanding officer, Lt. Colonel Andrew Smith, thanked Chiarini’s attending four grandparents, three sisters — one of whom served in Iraq with Army — and his parents, Linda and Thomas Chiarini, for raising and loving such a noble man. And thanks to others like him, he said, who “look down the muzzle of the enemy because their nation asks them to.”

without a single unifying belief?

If Mao was suddenly put in charge of the US, and he committed the atrocities that up until a few years ago the US found abominable but now are ok, would ... MADD members, for example, protest unabashedly out in the streets over the mass killings of say.... members of the NRA? Would Democrats protest the killing of Republicans?

Isn't this amnesty?

A nationally recognized ID, which enables illegals to get bank accounts, employment, marriage licenses...

and voter ID cards! Which is what the Dems really want. More voters for their party. They are willing to change our national identity to increase their numbers.

Not that NY Democrats care, but doesn't this work against the will of the people? Should we not be outraged that this party is working as hard as it can to get more illegals here and also manipulating our laws to keep them here legally?

If this happens, and the voter ID becomes reality, our politicians will be EVEN MORE inclined to act in the interests of illegals. Even more than they already are now. Mexico will finally have a strong voice in our nations capital.

Shameful Democrats in NY and Washington.

In a recent case a Hooters resturant manager asked 15 potential applicants to go try on hooters outfits. He sent them to a trailer where they undressed and put on the outfits. It was later discovered that the changing was being video taped by the manager and police seized 150 digital photos. Hooters denies any role and claims that the manager acted on his own. Can the women succeed in a lawsuit against the Hooters company? If So what can they claim?

Will someone answer this question for me? If there are illegal immigrants here, why isn't INS deporting them? They are breaking the law by being here. We don't hear about that on the news. Its like INS doesn't care anymore. When a terrorist attacks us on our soil again, I guarentee there will be a massive sweep across the nation to push them back.

Rudolph Guiliani is one of the least qualifed candidates of all. He takes credit for what the police commissioner did in the city.

All he's doing is putting three words together.

"A noun, a verb, and 911."

Bin Laden is the preeminent terrorist on the planet. 6 years later and he's still running loose... and Bush isn't concerned. What's a war on terrorism that doesn't make its greatest priority the most dangerous terrorist on Earth? Or wasn't the collapse of the WTC and the more than 2600 lives lost that day...enough proof of that?

If we search (twice) a Muslim, who happened to be a minister of an allay visiting US on official trip?
Do you trust the system that wastes time on such idiotic insulting searches instead of concentrating on the real threat?

Really, these "incidents" could be fun for cons (including Gore searched right after 9/11) , but this is at least conter productive!

Thinking Americans pay attention to their surroundings and their leader`s words...Does the answer to this question resolve the question of "If America is conservative, according to conservative radio ratings, why is America still basically 50/50 when it comes to voting ?"... I think we all need to accept the fact that most of your average Americans are lazy non-thinkers, seeing Hillary as a good thing for America.

But when I say I'm a Democrat the people sweep the side walks in front of me as I walk. The ladies give me their phone numbers and beg me to come over. I get raises every month at work. When I walk into a bar the ladies mob me and buy me the most expensive drinks. Why is that?

Seriously, I hear people bitching almost everyday about how FLICKED up things are in our country and I ask if they voted.

"No man, that doesn't count anyway."

I just tell them to shut the FLICK UP and talk to me after they vote.

my dad is a welder and got injured on the job. he had a 2000lbs + beam fall on him which crushed him between two beams. fortunately another employee spotted him or else he would have died because he was unconcious the whole time. the company refused to call emergency or ambulance and insisted in throwing him in a pickup truck to take him to thier own personal clinic. when they got there, the clinic refused him because he was basically almost dead and said he had to go to emergency. then they had to drive him all the way back across town to kaiser. when they got to kaiser, kaiser was upset because they didnt use proper precedures which was to have an emergency ambulance go pick him up because would of he died along the way because he wasn't treated on time. he suffered broken ribs which puntured his lungs. fortunately he's alive and recovering right now. what options do i have to make sure i take this company down for what they've done? what type of lawyer should i contact?
