If we search (twice) a Muslim, who happened to be a minister of an allay visiting US on official trip?
Do you trust the system that wastes time on such idiotic insulting searches instead of concentrating on the real threat?

Really, these "incidents" could be fun for cons (including Gore searched right after 9/11) , but this is at least conter productive!

Denial is not the ansewer. We did have attackes, but it is true that we did not have the big ones.

"USA Today reported Thursday that screeners at Los Angeles International Airport had a 75 percent failure rate. Security at Chicago's O'Hare Airport let through 60 percent. San Francisco airport screeners only allowed 20 percent of supposed bomb materials through, but they are employed by a private company."

No we aren't. Homeland security, the alert system, and the billions we spend creates nothing more than an illusion that we're safe.

And checking out the little old ladies, and three-year olds at the airport really does a lot.... not.

To a certain degree I do, but the more political correct our Country gets and the more our government appeases to terrorists, we will be hit again. The terrorists have made it loud and clear that they want Islam to rule the world so we're only safe for so long until we take our head out of the sand.

Despite all the precautions being taken to stop further terrorist attacks, there is never a 100% guarantee that we will not be attacked again. Don't underestimate the cunning of the terrorist organizations.

Small boats loaded with explosives or radioactive material in harbors and ports pose a big threat.

No I do not, its still just as easy for some John Doe to get some Auto-weps and go to a mall and shoot it up. Maybe we are safer from larger scale attacks...

No. But then again, I don't think we're safe from our own government let alone ourselves. So take that answer with a grain of salt.
