They tell every one to vote but when they do they mess with the votes. Americans need to realize that we live in a world of un justices. No matter who votes they all ready know who is going to be the president . American needs to wake up and actually understand that why while sleep at night the goverment is up plotting. The American people are so easy that even a blind sheep can leads up and we will still think we are going in the right direction. I personally will be happy and want to meet the president when one get in the office and work for the people. Its not about Demo or Re,its about who is going to do right. If you sit back and view what Bush and Clinton and all the presidents were doing in the office you will see alot of things. Put 2 and 2 togther this war did not start because 9-11 started this war has always been around. The people who are in the high places and govermental places are doing bids with all these countries under the table. You got area 51 that no one can go to why? You got china at any moment can send a missile over here and take us all out. You got some of the people in the office and bush selling our weapons and how to make them to diffrent countries. So when you ask what about the voting are we voting to make a better place or are we voting into a greedy and self system. If you ask me they are only using voting to say we allow the people to choose there president becuase they cant just say ok he is the president. I really dont think the voting system is good because they already know who they are going to pick. Wake up America.

I do not trust the elections anymore. So much fraud is rampant that all you can hope for is the cheating is even on both sides.
I will say that in the county of SC that I moved to 3 years ago you actually have to show both your voter registration card and your driver's license in order to vote. If we went back to enforcing small things like this we might be able to have a little more faith in the process.

No, I really don't trust the elections and that leaves us all in a very tricky place.
I think it's odd that supposedly in many polls Hillary is listed as the frontrunner for the Dems by a lot but in a recent poll of Iowa voters, she was nearly dead even with both Edwards and Obama.
And it also seems hard to believe that Guliani is the frontrunner for the Reps because he has hardly more republican that Hillary is.
I think those in power both in government and in corporations have 'chosen' who they want to win for each party and now the media is reporting as if these two have basically already won the nominations. Very scary stuff that I would hope could never happen in America, but I think it has.

you dont know what is really going on, in New York we have the old mechanical machines that seem pretty tamper resistant.
the new computers scare me to death since there is no physical evidence on how people voted
internet voting might be the way to go, you apply for a PIN number ahead of time just like on an account, then you vote
seems simple and secure
theres other ways to manipulate elections, such as providing fewer machines in the democratic districts then in the republican districts as was done in Ohio in 2004
in my area the Repubs run the system but my area is Democrat, since they took over they move the location ever year to a more remote part or sketchy part of the area obviously to discourage voter turnout
it does work to some extent, i always have people asking me where we area supposed to go this year, and this time im not even sure

Who knows, the truth is if the elections are rigger the last thing I want to do is use the government system to oppress others. Taxes are slavery and only voluntary exchange will bring a win-win situation! The republicans have no need to mandate marriage in the first place and the democrats need to quit building a bigger government(as do alot of recent republicans) Vote for Ron Paul! He is our only chance at freedom, liberty, and prosperity!

Re: the National Elections, NO I don't trust them at ALL for 2008... both parties are trying to register illegal aliens by the millions, we STILL haven't solved the questions / problems with the various voting machines, and both parties bite.
I AM also disgusted that we started the presidential race almost a year too early... THAT is NOTHING but a media game to suck more money into their pockets.
I changed from Republican to Independent back in 1998, and am honestly SICK of all those who currently represent "ME"... yes, even YOU Senator Feinstein.

How do you KNOW you are being cheated by anyone when it comes to the results.
It does seem odd it's always Democrats who are saying fraud. Could that be because they know what THEY have done in the past. Illinois around Chicago is noted for the number of DEAD Democrats who cast absentee ballots. OK I'm not going to say all the dead people who vote are Democrats. It's just that the dead seem to favor Democrat candidates by a ten to one margin. Go figure.

I don't think much fraud would take place, as far as having anyone believe the "other" party won the elections, like the other times. But in order for these elections to be the healthiest ever, and to make everyone feel good about themselves (I'm referring to voters, of course), we should all be completely vigilant. And make ourselves be heard the instant we notice something odd with the machines, wording, etc. It would be absolutely horrible to have to endure another election like the 2000 one!!!!

anybody that trusts main stream media is a fool. everyone knows each news organization has a political agenda, best examples are Fox news and CNN.
I don't trust the elections,
I believe pres bush would rather be dictator than president.
To him the constitution is just a piece of paper.
The real question is will there be a 2008 election.

Keep an eye on swing states using easily rigged voting machines. If their results differ from the exit polls, then we know we had another rigged election.
