if i sign a protection order, who gets the home we share in the state of alabama?

lol sorry, but i didnt sign an order. had a friend served one though and we were curious. i only stated the question in that way because it's a female who signed it. and don't worry lawyers have been called, but yall give faster responses ;)

One thing doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the other.

See a lawyer.

Why bring any additional drama? Sign the order, go to a shelter and prepare to find your own place. The shelter will help you do that. If you want the house, get a lawyer and do it through the court.
