Yeah, I'm all for the cookies and say that, if I wanted the veggies, I'll choose the ones I prefer. I will not be forced.
Liberals always seem to feel as if they have the best answers for everything; that noone else could possibly get it right and that they should be in charge of your wallet, what the money is spent on, how you should live your life, what you can and can't listen to; what commitment you can or cannot have, etc.
They would like to give away the store to the "less fortunate" and in turn, make us "less fortunate". Sometimes I wonder if they have a brain that is in working order! I have common sense and will use it without the help of any liberals, thank you. Though they may find my thoughts and ideas foreign to them, I will continue to fight for the things I know are right and will not be influenced by their socialist ideas.

..."Yet they force me to eat veggies..."
Mmmmm... Like they've been saying, no one's forcing you to do anything. But it does amaze me how veggies complain sometimes. No space. And what some people feel is the guilt - that's what really causes the inner conflict. Just as you reach for the sloppy, chocy cookie, some green, shining light passes the criticism and spoils it all. And then ..Oh the guilt !!
Next time a leafy green veggie catches you eating a cookie, tell them that you are diabetic - and about to go into insulin coma unless you are allowed to gorge some chocy cookies.....And why not offer them a cookie as well ?......No harm in being friendly.... :)
I've reached the stage now where I just couldn't care less what the veggies think. Be honest, after all they aren't the happiest people in the world, are they ?.....Always complaining 'bout this and that like an out-of-control tape recorder on rewind ......
......Ah well, back to the Bar-B-Q then. I'm flame-grilling a greasy brace of whale-burgers at the mo'....It's gonna take a while.....but it'll be well worth it !!.....My God I could eat a horse........
Just kidding folks !!

I like cookies, sometimes, but not the ones put on my computer by advertising trolls.
I hated veges as a kid, because "mom" boiled frozen vegetables, so they came out like mush! Ewwwww. I prefer veges to cookies though, odd sort that I am, (Republican). My favorite vegetable is broccoli, raw, and a salad with romaine lettuce, sliced mushrooms, green onion slivers, tomato, sliced carrots, and my own homemade Thousand Island dressing! I might share my recipe with you if you're nice to me for the rest of my life! LOL, interested? Cookies are for kids, usually, democrats and Libs like the cookies, they're easily deceived, and tricked into doing as they're told.

It is like the way they teach our kids in schools. The kids like cookies and they will not give them cookies. They will teach them about veggies and not cookies.
If they taught about cookies and veggies then it would be ok.

You asked for common sense in the Politics section? Good luck, that's like looking for agreement in the R & S section!
I really do think I have at least a little bit of common sense. I know that if you like cookies - then eat cookies. It is your chioce to make, not mine. Enjoy!

I love lobster. I'm from NY. I could always get lobster.
Now I live in Virginia.
I found lobster at Whole foods. Good lobster.
Some anal retentive liberal complained to whole foods that the lobsters looked sad in the tank.
Whole foods eliminated lobster.
The fish in my local chain is all from China.
I don't want Chinese fish.
So, they are not forcing me to eat it but, they are preventing me from eating lobster.
I suppose they are manipulating the market to make me replace my desire for sea food with brussel sprouts.
There is an abundance of brussel sprouts here.
Who eats that crap?

May be getting out of your parents house will help you eat more cookies than vegetables.
I don't know any other place where people are forced to eat their veggies, other than their parents home.
