Set aside from the obvious argument of is it appropriate or not. With Gov. Rick Perry signing a bill earlier this month that authorizes an immediate ban on protests at military funerals in Texas. Isn't this a ban on free speech perhaps under the guise of a noble cause.
Rick Perry has been accussed of many crimes and come forward admitting to the accussations but remains immune from prosecution. So Rick Perry is not a credible person to listen too in the first place.
If you decide to take the side of Rick Perry, remember NWO, Bilderberg, North American Union. Isn't eliminating free speech a great move for a terrorist leader?

civility or not it is still a violation of free speech. Any new law that is passed is a freedom you no longer have! Consider that whenever you look back and wonder how you became a slave.

No. That is not free speech. That is blatant harassment. The funeral of a soldier is not a public event. It is still very much a private event for the family of the deceased individual. That some group should decide to turn it into a circus and bring ridicule and dishonor to an individual while the family is grieving and attempting to find closure in their lives should not be tolerated.

Depends. If it's a protest on the War then they can do it around the fumeral area and they have to be respectful of it (as much as they can anyway). But if it's like those Jackasses who say God hates fags then no its not bad. That would be considered a hate speech.
