I was listening to a William Buckley Jr. debate with Noam Chomsky and I was impressed. He is not the typical unintelligent political thinker of today like Ann Coulter or Michael Moore. He is civilized, he would admit that the other person may be right, and overall, seems like a gentleman. Even though I do not agree with many of his political stances, especially after 9/11, Noam Chomsky is also undoubtably intelligent and is also very civilized. But if you have someone like Ann Coulter in a debate, all she does is blame liberals for everything and say they should die, and there is Michael Moore, who blames conservatives for the world's problems and loves insulting the President for all of his failures instead of doing something other than making movies to change it.

How can you on one hand bash Bush for not doing more to protect the US from 9/11, and on the other hand bash Bush for what he's done since. It makes you look silly. No war in the history of the world has ever been fought without mistakes.

Can you imagine yourself in a boxing match where certain people in the crowd threw rocks at you everytime they thought you made a mistake? Do you think you could win like that?

That's why many of us ( I at least) see you as traitors. You are working against your own country no matter how you try to justify it.

Is this the liberal view of the Declaration of Independence?

In the view of those who subscribe to the liberal interpretation of history, the philosophy of the Declaration is antiquated. According to the liberal interpretation, all men are created equal, except for blacks, Native Americans, Alaskan natives, Hispanics, and Asian and Pacific Islanders, who are racially challenged and must be classed apart from everyone else. (Native Hawaiians will be added to the list if the Akaka Bill becomes law.) All are entitled to life, except for those whose hearts beat in the womb; to liberty, except for those who require the supervision of the nanny state; to the fruits of their industry, except for those who have made a certain amount of money and are obligated to hand a disproportionate chunk of it over to the government each year.

Here's what Romney said:

"Actually, just look at what Osam — Barack Obama — said just yesterday. Barack Obama, calling on radicals, jihadists of all different types, to come together in Iraq. That is the battlefield. ... It's almost as if the Democratic contenders for president are living in fantasyland. Their idea for jihad is to retreat, and their idea for the economy is to also retreat. And in my view, both efforts are wrongheaded."

Do you think this was really an accident, or just staged to look like an accident?

Second question - if it was an accident, does it make you think that Romney is an idiot? If it wasn't an accident, what does this make you think of Romney's character?

Will the nomination of Hillary be enough to rally Republicans to do what they did in 2004 and get the vote out?

We're doomed if that battleaxe becomes president, so the GOP better pull its head out of its sphincter.

I believe that pornography should be outlawed. It is demoralizing people. I strongly believe that our government should take action to put an end to pornography over the internet. Not only that, but they should enforce these laws by criminilizing the possession of pornography, like making it just as bad as possessing weed.

What is your opinion on this issue?

If we spent as much money on health care, alternitive energy, education, mass transit in rual america, rail service instead of trucking everything like it used to be, conservation instead of mass waste, tax religious foundations, in their proerty and investments, when most of them only contribute 35 cents on the dollar that they receive anyway to whom ever they are saying it will go to, equal tax according to income of executives and companies, same tax to federal employees as well as social security that federal employees do not pay, stop wasting money on going to other planets, in which their is no practical motive other than curiosity, use small nucular reactors in rail engines like we do in our navy ships and submariens, that get 40 years on one fill up. unlimited world wide milage. not allow the federal govt. to use social security tax income for anything other than benifits to the investors. if you like that, vote for mlw12342001@yahoo.com for president. thank you. write in.

to that same Chinese made American flag? My heart swells with pride when I see states like Michigan suffering under the free trade agreements that have stricken that state like no other. How great can our country be when we don't even support our own workers any longer? Cheap labor for larger profits is the new theme. If we can't afford to pay Americans for an honest day's labor, we should just fold up shop and sell ourselves to the Chinese. Oh, that's right, we are already. More toxic toys anyone? Christmas is around the corner. Don't forget to support your local communist country, buy Chinese.

I see people quoting one definition of marriage read: "The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife." Thus being the reason, or one anyway, that they are against the marriage. Although there is also the definition: A common-law marriage.

It's odd that Americans don't realize that there are many English words that have 1 or more different meanings.

So the question is... Do you realize marriage could be:

The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife.

The state of being married; wedlock.

A common-law marriage.

A union between two persons having the customary but usually not the legal force of marriage: a same-sex marriage.

A wedding.

A close union

and not just the first definition?

Definitions taken from American Heritage.
