How can you on one hand bash Bush for not doing more to protect the US from 9/11, and on the other hand bash Bush for what he's done since. It makes you look silly. No war in the history of the world has ever been fought without mistakes.

Can you imagine yourself in a boxing match where certain people in the crowd threw rocks at you everytime they thought you made a mistake? Do you think you could win like that?

That's why many of us ( I at least) see you as traitors. You are working against your own country no matter how you try to justify it.

BTW, last time I checked the US has had no Al Qaeda attacks since 9/11. That seems pretty good to me.

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a thug with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges at you.

You are carrying a Glock cal 40, and you are an expert shot.

You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

Democrat's Answer

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!
Does the man look poor! Or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? What does the law say about this situation? Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children? Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me? Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted? We need to raise taxes, have paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

most war mistakes don't include invading a wrong country in response to an attack that the nation had little to nothing to do with...

that makes you look silly...

9-11 happened, the 9-11 report said Iraq had nothing to do with it... Bush lightly invades Afghainstian (not that many troops, light support only) for a few months, then goes to Iraq... to fight the war on terror...

can you imagine if you went to a boxing match, for the world's championship... and you went out and forced your way into the ring of an undercard match, before your fight was even suppose to start... and refused to fight in the actual championship match, because you were fighting in the undercard?

most people would throw rocks... with excellent reason...

do you think you could win the world championship like that?

that's why many of us see you as fools that have no concept of who you're fighting, where you should be or who the real enemy is...

and your only recourse is to call us traitors, because God knows you don't have any facts to back up your actions...

if my country isn't any smarter than that... it's not going to be around much longer... and sorry if I'm not going to go down without at least pointing at the fools who are doing it...

EDIT: seriously... is lack of an attack proof your actions are working? do you know the first thing about logic? clearly not...

THE CIA SHOULDN'T BE SAYING THIS IF YOU ARE CORRECT:

I see your point, but mistake after mistake ?
Will you follow him until we can't afford him making any more mistakes ? He never gave a clear reason about Iraq, that's one of the reasons people don't like him now.
If you think about it how does occupying a small country protecting the world from terrorist if terrorism is a worldwide problem ? Spain, England are our Allies. They are "with us" to a certain extent and they got bombed during the war. What's exactly stopping them from bombing us ? No one really knows. No report, no inquiries, nothing.
I don't blame him for 9/11, just what followed. (And will never call you a traitor just because you don't agree with me.)

Bush perpetuated 9.11 to provide a pretext for war and used fear tactics to win the 2nd election. The first one he blatantly stole (see Princeton University website or YouTube for Diebold voting machine hacking capabilities) and according to a poll conducted by Scripps News Service, 1/3 of Americans also believe the gov't carried out the attacks or allowed them. Try reading the facts, like that steel melts at 2500 degrees, and jet fuel burns at only 1500 degrees. Can you say explosives? Every FDNY that was present can and did. Unfortunately, neocon zombie Bush supporters abandon science and logic when it comes to their idea of fact and fiction, instead they listen to a president who is illiterate, inarticulate, and not half way convincing. Perhaps they share these traits and that's why. No plane hit WTC 7, yet it magically collapsed. Where are those WMDs? It's easy to get inaccurate information when you SEEK it and practically demand the CIA produce it. People cannot make cell phone calls when going 500 mph in an aircraft. What person calls their relative and addresses themselves by first and last name. Bush flew Osama's family out of the country after 9/11 and over half of the so-called 9/11 hijackers have been proven to be ALIVE & WELL. Things that make ya go hmm. If you can't accept truth when it's gift wrapped for you, you are the most ignorant form of human life and frankly shouldn't be allowed to vote. You're probably also an alcoholic cokehead like Bush, a.k.a. born again Christian who believes in the ressurection. If an IQ test was implemented to vote, it would solve one major problem.

Why is it Bush supporters like you can never explain to me why the FBI had Moussaoui in custody in Minneapolis for weeks before 911 and not foiled the plot? Why can't you also explain why FBI HQ denied FISA warrants requested by the same office?
Or explain what if any orders Bush gave after the 8/6/2001 briefing he got stating Bin Laden wanted to strike inside the US?
BY NOT ANSWERING THESE QUESTIONS BUSH LOOKS LIKE THE TRUE TRAITOR!
WHY DID BUSH AND CHENEY HIDE BEHIND CLOSED DOORS INSTEAD OF TESTIFYING PUBLICLY BEFORE THE 911 COMMISSION?
Why did it take more then a year for the republicans to start an investigation into the events of 911?

I so disagree with these false accusations.

What part of Bush and friends lying to invade Iraq isn't clear?
Also, what part of Iraq having NOTHING to do with 9/11 isn't clear?

To call people traitors for standing up to Bush's lies and tyranny speaks volumes. Bush is the traitor along with CIA agent outing Dick Cheney. As for the wind up toys (below) if being led around by the nose is how some choose to live their lives it is their right to do so. I opt to think for myself and to call them as I see them.

edit: LOL The reality is 10 years or so from now, you are going to look back and say "Darn it! Chi Guy was 100% correct all of this time."

It's quite simple, really. We would not have been in this war to begin with had it not been for Bush. 70% of Americans disapprove of Bush's handeling of the war in Iraq so I guess that makes the vast majority of us Americans traitors. Grow up.

okay people voted him in a second term it means that they do not as a whole dislike him (at least then) however his escalation in Iraq is not what the American citizens want and they are finally making that clear! they are also mad that he went into Iraq in the first place, they are also pissed about their children's education or lack there off it (the no child left behind policy, just sends more and more kids to learning centres such as Sylvan. and even with this new...curriculum the kids still no nothing about their important neighbour to the north Canada)...

Maybe because Bush is a hypocrite. He claims to protect us but then leaves the borders open. It seems to me that HE is the inconsistent one...not me.
