Hey, I have a question. My husband deployed to Iraq about 2 1/2 months ago. He'll be home Spring of '08. I have been going through some kind of depression. I sleep all the time. Sometimes I just take a tylenol pm in the middle of the day because I can't take that day anymore. Other days, i'm happy (well as happy as I could be) and can get through the day just fine. I get to talk to my husband every couple days but he doesn't know I feel this way. I don't want him to worry because I cry myself to sleep at least 3 times a week. I'm just sad because I miss him so much. I'm scared if I go talk to a Dr (on base) they'll think I'm crazy or something & it's not even like that. I have a full time job, so I'm not sitting home all the time or anything. I just am tired of feeling so empty & even after sleeping in excess of 10-13 hours, I just want to go back to bed. or there are days where I can't sleep at all What should I do? What will the Dr do if i tell them im depressed? I AM NOT SUICIDAL!!!

Drive in the Rain without Their Headlights On? In my state it's against the law to drive in the rain or fog without headlights. But I see Staties and local cops drive without them all the time. Why don't they uphold the law they ticket us for violating?

I think someone told me it was NLS or something like that and what data are you allowed to receive from the ISP? Would like it if someone with law enforcement experience answered it.

Thanks.

They are doing all they can. Desperate fellows. They have even started a smear campaign against Shri Modijee.

Maybe they will remember and relate to the words of famous western politician: "You can fool some people some time. But you cant fool all the people all the time."

The prayer of every Hindu:
"Jai Bhagavan, I surrender to you Bhagavan and ask for your protection"

My parents pushes me to take up nursing course for college but i don't want to. It's not my field of interest..I go for media studies. They say once I graduated nursing I'll go to other countries to earn big money because there's no hope that we can be rich here in our own country.

I hate my country! I really do! but not ever once came into my mind to leave the Philippines and work abroad. Why do this have to happen to us? Why do we have to leave the country for success? Why do I have to argue w/ my parents w/ what course shall i take? Why is our country like this? Are we even a country? According to a book I've read, the Philippines cannot be considered as nation. That is why we are still called The Philippine Islands! Why is that so?? ANSWER ME!!

I had worked for my previous employer for 1 year and 6 months. I had some person issues with another co-worker that started the same week as me. About three months after I started at the company there was a new position that opened up that would have been a promotion to both of us. They did not even consider her for the position the just offered it to me and she was upset because she really wanted it. Things just went sour between the two of us after that. Recently things were escalating and she was trying to tell me how to do my job and she was also yelling and barking orders at my guys. I gave a verbal and written complaint to both my boss and his boss. And asked them both for guidance several times. But never had gotten any responses from either one. For the most part I just ignored this other girl unless it came to work to avoid conflict.

However two days ago out of the blue, the office manager (the person above my boss) pulled me into his office and told me that "I" had to solve

I am very disappointed with the president's decision. How could you grant pardon to a person who doesnt even admit he is guilty of the crime? and before the decision was made, Erap publicly condemned the judicial system of the Philippines. how could the government let go of the big fish? Doing so only gives an implication that we tolerate criminals and that that it is okay to steal from the government? We must act and send the message that cases like plunder is a serious crime and punishable by law. We are talking billions!

Liberals have always confused me. The other day I saw a car that had bumper stickers ALL over it! Not just on the bumper! Most were anti-Bush but there were stickers for all kinds of causes that were not considered conservative. I have noticed things like that more and more. Do these people just like to argue and get noticed?

I live in the state of Oregon, and I recently signed up with health insurance through my work. The insurance is very expensive, and a burden finacially, but I felt it nessesary considering my health condition.
It turns out, they wont cover anything having to do with my 'pre-existing condition'. I have not used it once, and they wont cover me for what I really need it for.
Its basicly a waste of money for me, and very hard to make ends meet. I tried to cancel, but they are saying I cant until I have proof of insruance elsewhere or I have to wait another year until open enrollment? Can they do this? Is there anything I can do? Or do I have to loose $180 a month for nothing for the next year?

The vehicle ahead of me came to a dead stop on the onramp to the highway. There was no way for me to go around him, and I hit the rear end. I got a ticket for "failure to use due care." I had no choice but to hit either the vehicle that stopped, a cement barrier, or drive out onto the freeway. I was not going very fast, maybe 45 mph. Am I really the one at fault if someone stops on the onramp? I'm going to fight it no matter what, but do I have the ghost of a chance to beat this ticket? My car is totalled!

I got a parking citation for parking in the wrong direction on the street infront of my house. The fine is only $35. My questions are:

1. If I pay the ticket, does it show on my driving record? And is that bad?

2. If I contest the ticket, what are my odds of winning? (I live in Houston, TX.) Especially if the police do not show up.

3. The ticket says I have a right to an instant hearing. I just show up anytime within 45 days, between 9-7. Is a "hearing" the actual trial, or is it just when they set a date for the trial?

4. How realistic are my views on the law?

a. I'm innocent until proven guilty, and this ticket is just an allegation.

b. The city has the "burden of proof" of proving the parking violation. They must present a case, or else it's thrown out.

c. I have a right to confront my accusers. Therefore if the cop doesn't show up, the case is thrown out.

d. I have a right to remain silent. If the judge asks me for my side of the story, I can refuse.

Why would anyone want to be in a (labor) union?
It seems to me a genuine need for a union implies a conflict of interest between employer and employee. Personally I would rather just find a better job.
The government however, seems to believe an employer is free to treat its employees any way it chooses and if the company experiences retention / staffing problems, the government will ship in workers from other nations or will provide incentives for the company to shift the work to another nation entirely.

All I ever hear from Liberals is interest rates this and interest rates that, remember back in the 80's and 90's and all the other negative rubbish about unions and Labor. Yeah we were there and went through the same hardships and I also vote Liberal at the time because it was painful but its in the past nearly 2 decades ago and its time to let go.

But in 11 long years what else has he achieved. Me and a couple a guys were having a talk out in the surf. 1 was a Liberal voter (obviously a surfer with no environmental concience) and he could not name another successful achievement.

And in 11 years you would hope this list would be long. Buts one of the shortest list ever.

This country is at an all-time low socially. We have lost that care for each other, and have taken up the 'I'm good, so the rest of you can go to hell'. Howard has ripped the guts out of social services, the states haven't helped but most of their services are joint funded by the Federal Government.
