Well unless you want to be the only poor slob on the ground in "IRAN", I think you would die quick.

Wow, this question really hit a nerve with some people.
I'd take the ground in Iran. Getting out of front line duty would relatively easy; I'd just have to pretend I had PTSD, start acting slightly nutty.
You know, wake up screaming and ranting incoherently at 2am, carry my gun with me in the shower, fake a severe phobia of hand grenades, randomly "snap" at people.....rock back and forth and mumble while clutching my gun, pretend to be incompetent and dangerously clumsy....et cetera ad infinitum.
The possibilities are endless......
That way, I could waste government funds, derail the war effort, and have fun at the same time......
