poor old people coming in hospitals for help are simply ejected to the sidewalk and die a few days later cuz they dont have $.

how can this possible in the richest country in the world???.

I never heard of poor people not being treated and thrown out the door. I do know that health care in the richest country in the world is astronomically high, The government has programs for the poor. They get free health care and prescriptions of $3.00. As far as the question of being ashamed for my government? absolutely. I am so ashamed that our President has done and got away with everything he has. I think he is a war criminal and personally he makes me want to barf...He is the worst president this country has ever seen. I cannot even watch him on television. He is an idiot. Did daddy buy his harvard degree for him or what? You are right USA=country of shame, scandels and murders. There is no reason why our soldiers should be in Iraq and no reason for the Iraqi people to be bombed and have their lives turned upside down because Insane Sadam Hussain hurt big daddy bush....This whole Bush administration Sucks......I want our troops home and I am not a mother of, sister or brother of any. Yes that is true.

In my county last year someone died from having a broken leg. He had gone to the ER and hospitals here do not put casts on. They will only splint. The man informed them he had no money to have a cast put on but the hospital sent him out anyways.

Well, his bone was displaced.. means not lined up. He tripped and because he had a splint and not a cast, the bone ruptured a vein and he died.

I don't know about the rest of the u.s, but in my state, if someone walks into a hospital seeking treatment, the hospital is obligated by law to treat them, however they are not offered the best technology available to save their lives. People often die because they can't pay for specific treatments. I have to agree that it is pretty scandalous and shameful. Human life should always be more valuable than the mighty dollar, unfortunately everything costs, and we can't expect doctors to go out of practice to save some poor smucks life, otherwise we wouldn't have health care at all. ;-)

No, I don't think that's a true statement. No one is denied medical care because they cannot pay.. In fact those of us that do pay into health insurance are the real idiots- we work and pay into health insurance while people on welfare and those w/o jobs go to the emergency room and do not pay.. !! That's the real crime !! As far as being "afraid" of our government, no I think sometimes we would like to "laugh" at our government but, fear is for communists/socialists and the like.... Good luck
