Several months ago, an Al-Qaida supporter was charged with helping terrorists attack non-muslim tourists in the muslim country of Indonesia. (Indonesia is the same country that Borak Obama spent a large portion of his childhood). That one attack left 88 Australians dead. A total of over 160 tourists were killed.

Think for a second. Personally, I know how easy it is to be so convinced and certain, yet in the end, be completely wrong.

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Who disagrees with Benjamin Franklin on this?

Modern society?
Im sure the average Iranian citizen is tired of breathing.
Maybe they want to be liberated from Life much like the Iraqis did and bush is there to answer the call and save the day.

I am currently applying for a permanent residency as a skilled worker in Canada and in this process I am asked to supply a police report ( a Data protection and Subject access )
However in 1996 I was convicted for intent to supply a class B drug. I was given 8 months prison ,but served 4 months for good behavior.
I have never been in trouble with the law since and my life can never be more different now from how it was when I was 20 (11 years ago).
Do I still have a criminal record? Does it ever get cleared? Will it show on my Data protection and Subject access report? If so will the Canadian Immigration refuse my application?
Many thanks.

recently my wife (who is an immigrant) and i went to eat and drink at a hard rock cafe.

upon ordering our alcoholic drinks and presenting our id, the bar tender stated that my wife's greencard is not an acceptable form of id.

of course after some bickering a littlre, we left.

i looked up the state alcohol sales rules and regs and it clearly states that a greencard is an acceptable form of id for alcohol sales.

i emailed the manager and i got a response back stating that they are aware of the rules but they have chosen not to accept greencards at that establishment as a valid form of id.

the manager went on to say that they accept passports, state issued id, and drivers license.

i asked specifically why they do not accept greencards and no response is given, the manager just ignores the question or gives the response "we just don't accept them".

think this is bias against immigrants?

My grandmother died and put it in her will that her lawyer who is trustee of her Estate should give me money from it 'at his discretion'.
The problem is my grandmother trusted this lawyer and he is the biggest scumball whomever lived.
I was supposed to receive three boxes from her estate an disntead her had them valued and sold at auction.
Ive seen him ignore several of her verbal wishes already.
He is refusing to give me ANY money from her estate.
I took care of her only daughter and grew up abused by my mother.
So my Grandmother took pity and wanted me to be provdided for when I needed it after her death.
What should I do about this lawyer refusing to give me any money form the trust ?

Why are we just building a wall on the south border and not on the Canada/America border? Isn't this an insult to the Mexican government?

~~Keep in mind that the terrorist of 9/11 came in from Canada with a breeze.~~

bush paraded around on the deck of an aircraft carrier, wearing his codpiece on the advice of Karl Rove. Waving and smiling ear to ear, bush was blissfully unaware of how shameful and embarrassing his little flight-suit landing stunt would be remembered by history.

If bush were to try to pull that little flight-suit landing stunt today, what do you think the reaction of the American people would be to it today?

Lawmakers such as the Senators, congressman, City and Municipal councils members including the Provincial Board members are elected to make/ r4evised laws and not to make projects especially infrastructure. In the Philippines, a President will not release the Pork Barrel funds will be ousted. This is the case of Ex-President Joseph Estrada where nduring his term of office he did not release the funds for the Congressman and senators.

they will want to focus more on the war in Afghanistan? We kind of abandoned that, I'd rather go after the people that actually attacked US soil. I really want to join the Army but I don't want to fight in Iraq because I don't think we belong there.

I prefer answers from anyone who is in the military or military relatives, spouses, who actually know what they're talking about, not just guesses. I would like to know how long in weeks or months it would take to get to San Diego by ship from Australia. This question is about USMC Unit MALS-13 Marines who are on their way back from Iraq deployment by ship, but are currently in Australia. How long would it take to arrive to San Diego, California from Australia?
