I read the question, and then the answers and the thought, some people on here seem to think ti would be a good thing of someone was gunned down in cold blood. Don't come near me, you if you said that, I don't want any hate-filled bloodlust driven nutjobs around. I don't care if you disagree with him, but come on don't be rediculous.
We won't know Bush's legacy until the full effect of his actions is apparent through hindsight. Perspectives about events change with time adn the accumulation of more events, afterall a monk requesting a theological debate in 1517 didn't seem to be anything major at the time but now look at it.

Sure I would be sad. He's a human, a father and a husband. However, I don't think anything will change his legacy at this point. He will most definitely be one of, if not the worst president in history. But no one deserves to die for that!

I like the use of JFK as a verb...makes me smile, lol.
I think any president that is assassinated is remembered in a heroic light, simply because they were cut down in their prime. So history books would (for example) remember his valiant fight against terrorism rather than his mispronounciation of nuclear.
I'm not saying he deserves to be remembered that way, but it's probably what would happen.

His legacy would be the endless war, the denial of health care for children, the failing economy. We would remember those things, only his family and the zealots to uphold the war would be sad. He should have been taken out YEARS ago! I am sad that he was re-elected for a second term, a one eyed drunken baboon with a penchant for electric blue thongs would be doing us better!
I prefer assassinate to JFK'd, sounds meaner.

Now everyone remember this. If something were to happen to Bush, Cheney would be in charge. No matter how bad Bush is, Cheney is 10 times worse.

I have no idea what people talk about. History is written every day and any changes that would not represent this time period would be a lie so why would history be any different of what people think today? Unless there is a future desire/intent to deceive..

I would be sad. I never voted for him, and strongly supported Kerry in the last election and was sad when he lost, but I did see part of that movie about his fake assassination online, and I've got to tell you, the whole idea of that is just really scary and disturbing.

Of course we would remember him. He would be remembered for taking our troops to Iraq. We would all be upset I'm sure because he is the leader of our country and we don't want anyone messing with our country in any way. This would be horrible !! There have been worse then Bush. I wouldn't want to have his job!

He would be remembered as an dumbass who screwed this country. I wouldn't be sad in the least, I think a feeling of joy or relief would come over a lot of people.
