absolutely nothing. They know the war must be finished. They know they can't just leave. They know the war is necessary.
They will give you the impression they are against the war to get votes, but notice none is really committed on what they would do. Why? Because they know that Bush and the war is right. Hillary's own husband and her own statements, over and over for the past 15 years show that they where 100% onboard for the war. But since they are from another "party" they have to give the appearence of being against everything that comes out of a republicans mouth, even though behind closed doors, they support the exact same things. What are those things? MONEY AND POWER. The same people and big comapnies who give to Bush? Guesse what...they give to dems as well.
Not to mention, withdrawal from Iraq will take 2-3 years and only if everything goes according to plan. Even Obama has admitted 2013 at the earliest. In reality, if we leave prematurely, we will have to fight our way out to Kuwait. All the Dems know that. They just won't admit to it publicly because they want the left wing vote. Its all a scam and we are the victims. I'm just wondering how long its going to take americans to figure that out and stop fighting each other, which is what they want.

The only person who ever got it right was Colin Powell when he said about Iraq "If you break it, we're going to have to fix it" Well, we broke it...

I think the result will be a repeat of the Vietnam war. They'll get us out and watch the Shittes take over. And we'll be pissed at them for a few years, all the while making deals with them to continue selling oil to us. And occasionally let Israel bomb their nuclear plants.

The Democrats won't do much more than the next possible Republican president would do, only they might do it quicker. It seems that when it comes to war, defense, offense, etc.. the Dems and Reps aren't all that much different.

I happen to think that either party would try to get us out ASAP! But, it is going to take time, we can't just leave these people in the mess we have created, we have to help them get their lives somewhat in order again, this won't be easy. Anyone that tells you they will have the troops out of Iraq by 2013 may just be having pipe dreams! Unless, of course, we are going to pull another Vietnam & leave them to the mercy of al Quida! That way anyone who showed any friendliness to us will be killed! Guess it doesn't matter, they are only Iraqi people. I don't neccessarily want a time table from a candidate, I want an honest answer, they will do their best to get us out as soon as possible with as little damage done to the Iraqi people as possible, I'm not hearing that!

Probably nothing

They'll say they're against the war and crap when voters hear it, but once they're in office, they know they have to stay.

And after victory is achieved, they will take credit for it, even though Iraq has been improving drastically over the past year

Very little.
Most of the rhetoric is for getting elected, like for many politicians. They use it because it is the only coin we will accept.

We don't want ethics, or experience.

We want political bigotry and feeling righteous against half the country.

Silly.

The Congress hasn't done much because they know better. They know what's really happening in Iraq.

But watch the ones in either party who go against the majority. They aren't what they seem.

I do not like her but think Clinton will win. I do not think there will be much of a change. Troops will be in Iraq till at least 2011.

They talk about bringing the military home very quickly but they know that is not possible. When they finally start bringing our servicepeople home, it has to be gradual and they do know it. They talk a lot about what they are going to do but, in reality, they know they have to do things in much the same manner as they are being done.
