No. Nor would the world be a safer place if every country acted like China or Iran or Korea or Mexico, etc. Currently there is a balance of power that keeps any one country from ruling the world. I'm not thrilled with our current government either but they'll be gone shortly and, hopefully, our new leaders will be less insulated and self-serving.

I don't think so, if anything I think this world would be in even more chaos and be covered in more war.
I think this is so because as a whole, America is horribly ignorant and arrogant. Nobody wants to be a weak country, so then every country would be making accusations and start trying to be the best.
Then war would break out and people would die and this would just continue over and over.
That is why we are in a war now, because Al-Quida is just as bad as we are.

I would think so. I guess you'd have to define 'act like the US'. Do they have a similar type of government? Do they instill the same types of beliefs in their people? I would be inclined to believe we would be more capable of getting along with countries we can identify with, after all we can identify with our allies pretty well. Iran, not so much.

no way, the US is out of their heads,
they think the only way for a safer world is to start wars, which is what they are trying to prevent. they are dumb, all they think about is money, they only went to afghanistan and iran to surround iran for an attack and also to get iraq's oil. they are the most corrupt nation of the world, they suck, they should go to hell. how ever i have nothing against the people, the people are great, and i like th eamerican culture. my statement here is about their government.

That's when you know that safety is in no way the main reason of what the US does not to mention peace.
