My 81 year old grandmother was involved in a car accident today where she was not at fault. An employee of a Toyota car dealership was in a marked company truck, and tboned her, totaling her car, braking her wrist, causing severe bruising, possible broken ribs, knee issues, and so on,not to mention she just had major back surgery a month ago, and her passenger, a 78 year old women suffered a dislocated collarbone and a broken hand which is going to require surgeon by a specialist. They are both in severe pain, and we are looking into sueing. The woman was definetly at fault, there were more than 5 witnesses who reported what they saw to the state trooper, so it's in the report. What kind of case would we have against Toyota, if one at all? I mean there is pain & suffering, medical bills, and the car that was totaled is a 2004 Lincoln Towncar Ultimate with only 16,000 miles, which is valued at $24,000 on Kelley Blue Book. Any answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What happened was 2 parents took they're daughter who was 3 months old to daycare center. And somehow he mom had forgot to remind her husband the baby was in the vehicle with them. She was let out at her workplace, and he went on to play tennis, not knowing his baby daughter was even in car! He went on to work and someone had noticed the baby and broke window. But she died because of the heat. They were not even charged with child neglect?? Was this truely an accident in your mind? To me there no excuse for what happened! The father surely had similar routine many times before! The other sad thing was the fact that she was a pediatrician! Very sad story to say the least.
Was justice done here?

Ok im not a women or a gay man but i do understand the certain hardships they are going through. And i cant spell for my life.
The president of the United States of America has no right to ban gay marige. thats like saying u cant go out after dark. theres no problem with gay marige. and i know allot of people in this country are ignorant espesially the church. and i know they command allot of respect. but even the church isnt so holy anymore. (some priests + boys = bad news) not every priest is a perv. the idea of a god is nice, it gives people hope and something to live for. however there are side effects.
Abortions, no matter how you feel about the subject is erelevant. theres nothing in the constitution or the bill of rights that states abortions are illegal. so if you are pro life shut it. theres nothing you can do. if a woman wants to get an abortion so be it. its her damn choice, live with it. just like i have to live with traffic, its never going to go away.

i dont think any of the candidates now should win.
its good to have a woman running for president but hillary clinton just wouldnt be a good president.
i also think that its great to have a black president but obama wouldnt be a good president either. and i think he might be a bit too close to communist and other leaders that are not too friendly with the u.s. no comment on the others.
we really need to reform our government and our country and to do that we need a good president. there are so many things wrong with our country and every year we get into more and more debt. we are over 1 trillion dollars in debt. what do you think?

Word from some possibly good sources, say maybe sometime in November Iran will get bombed during this year. Seems the President will not hand over the presidency to the next administration with Irans situation unresolved. Don't ask where I got the info because I don't know. Just want to know if anyone else out there has any similar information. Thanks,

I'm interested in the latest developments at the 17th Party Congress, and particularly any analysis on what implications arise from personnel changes. Does anyone know of any good sites/blogs with such information?

The CIA Cheif seems very worried about Osama, more so than about Iran, N. Korea or well anyone else.

Should we take this seriously? Is it a sign that the war on terror is not going well? And what should we do?

This is a multiple choice question:

Conservatives, your choices:
1) The media desparately wants to continue a "Kennedy" legacy in the WH, anyone willing to play ball with the media will get their support- phony photo ops; looking the other way when a Clinton (pick one) girlfriend is outed.
2) The media will just continue the lie, they know liberals will believe whatever they tell them to think or do.
3) All Hillary needs to do, is get re-elected, then she can dump Bill (or maybe find the closet door?)

Socialists, I mean progressives, your answers:
1) Hey, it's their business (sorry, the Clintons are heavily promoting the facade, that answer won't work)
2) I really believe they have a physical relationship (that's enough kool-aid, comrade)
3) Why do we focus on people's personal lives (Sen Craig would like to know)
4) If another liberal says it, it must be true.
5) I read in the NY Times, Hillary is in love with Bill
6) Bush lied
7) Haliburton made money

These are numbers representing straw polls around the country and the results.
Ron Paul's Head-to-Head Records (Win-Lose-Tie):
Ron Paul v. Rudy Giuliani 31-5-0

Ron Paul v. Fred Thompson 21-14-0

Ron Paul v. Mike Huckabee 30-4-1
Ron Paul v. Sam Brownback 32-2-1
Ron Paul v. Tom Tancredo 33-1-0

Why is it that the mainstream media would have us believe he isn't even showing in the polls? Who are they kidding?

Hello, I have a packet of 100 questions about the Vietnam War. But I can't find the answer to several of them. If you could please just help me answer at least one of them (or all!) that would be great. Thanks!

1. How did Nixon try to bring about peace in the Vietnam War?

2. How did the protestors influence President Nixon's actions?

3. Who fought against whom in the Vietnam War? (I found a couple but I need all)

4. Why did the U.S. become involved in Vietnam, and why did it increase its involvement into the 1970s? (can't find this one anywhere)

5.What was the intitial public sentiment regarding U.S. involvement in Vietnam?

6. How did the war change under Nixon's administration?

7. Was the Vietnam War popular among American civilians?

That's all. Thank you!

i for one am sick of winges - it seems to be a mentatility of some of the hard done by or strugglers that we should help them - i was there - we bought a run down house and thru share hard back breaking work we have made a go of it - that was when our neighbours and friends all hired contractors, bob cats etc - we did it by hand - and now thru equity on this home we are doing it again on another house - share hard work - stop looking for handouts - stop buying your smokes - stop your drinking - stop being couch spuds - and get up and give it a go - most people with the right attitude can help their own situation - stop looking for handouts and help yourselves - it pays - the existing government helps people like us - and I for one am thankful - thank you Mr Howard
