I moved to Japan for 2 years last year and my license expired last month but I want to keep it current until I move back. I will be home in December. Can I renew it then or do I have to take the test again?

My son and I were watching ‘Weird Science’ last weekend, and having a good laugh. The more we watched, the less far-fetched of an idea this seemed to us. Why COULDN’T we make a girl from scratch? Each of us placed in a science fair while in school, so the idea didn’t seem so out of our reach.

We put together the things we thought we would need, and we even strapped two of his mother’s bras on our heads, paying homage to the movie. The deeper we delved in, the more things began to go wrong. I’m not sure exactly what happened, as much of it is a blur, but SOMETHING happened. Smoke began to erupt from both our kitchen and our family PC. We live in California, where earth tremors are a part of life. At the very moment this was happening, the earth began to shake. My son became terrified, and ran downstairs... {more}

This country WAS founded on Christian principles. You'd think the people would want a good Christian to lead it in upholding those principles. Maybe we'll even be able to pray in schools again. After all, school shootings have increased dramatically since God was taken out of the schools.

I signed a Gold’s Gym membership contract as a minor and then they put someone else’s bank account info on the contract. They have been charging them for a contract that I did not know was finalized as I never paid the first initial payment to become a member and never finished the paper work. The owner of the account has been being charged for the last year and finally realized it and stopped the payments. I received a bill from a bill collector about 2 months ago asking for roughly $380 for stopped payment charges, late fees and “insufficient bank account information”. I do not know whose bank account information they have and how Gold’s Gym obtained it. I just received another letter yesterday from Federal Recovery Services informing me I now owe them $1,293.83 for late fees, returned and stopped check fees, ect. I want to know if I should take legal action against Gold’s Gym for knowing letting a minor sign a legal binding contract and for them charging another individual’s account information for this contract. The gym representative also did not inform me that the contract would automatically renew itself and I would have this contract until August 2009. So, if you have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A few days ago I caught my little brother (he's 13) downloading porn featuring underage girls. I yelled at him and told him to delete everything. I haven't told our parents yet. Now I'm afraid at any moment police are going to bust down the door and arrest him. Is this likely to happen? Should I tell my parents? Or, is my brother really messed up and I should not be trying to protect him?

Note: we have a hugh military base here in Michigan and many (Most...not all) of the Military men won't eat at a restaurant owned by Arabs. (In Michigan we have over 500,000 hard working Arabs) They (Our men in the military) say they don't feel comfortable around Arabs. However, out of uniform they say they will go to a restaurant owned by Arabs. Now why is that?

I need to write an essay about drinking age. And why it is such a problem in America. And why is there a certain age we put on it. And why is it different from the age for buying cigarettes. And does the drinking age affect the amount of teen parties and underage drinking? I need any opinion possible on this subject!

I recently was pulled over for a minor traffic violation and was just going to receive a warning... the officer then tells me tat he must take me in because of a warrant for my arrest from 2005.
He explained, during booking, that it was for a failure to appear in court... after given the information, i concluded that i had infact been to court on that date and i contacted the city hall where i live. they tell me the have no evidence of me being present that day... i now am out $200 for bond and im sure i will have to pay even more after my court date for something that i didn't even do!!!.... Is there any way i can prove that i am innocent?

I had my license suspended in 05 for a few months due to a city ordinance violation. How would i have known that my license was going to be suspended if i hadn't gone to court, and i never received a mailing about my warrant...

They are American citizens. (18 to 23 years old) They told me (this morning) the USA has been good to them so I ask them to join the military and help President bush. They said "NO Way". One young man said he knows the war can't be won in Iraq or anywhere in the middle east. Besides, as one young man said , "I have to complete my College". Then the nice Arab people laughed at me for asking them to join the USA military.

Non-Citizens in America are getting better benefits than citizens are. They get free medical (which is really paid by all of the taxpayers and me), they get Low-Income Housing assistance (yay section 8!!), and their kids go to our public schools and get an American Education catered to them in their own language so they don't have to actually learn English. This is not a racial thing because illegal immigrants come in all colors. Should I renounce my citizenship and live off of the taxpayers for the rest of my life?

I'm an army girlfriend & it’s been my experience that military girlfriends are not viewed very favorably, especially by military wives.

I personally have never dated anyone who is in the military before so I'm a little confused as to why that is :(

My boyfriend is in Iraq right now & I was looking for support from people who could relate to my situation. What I found where comments like "wives only", you’re only a "girlfriend" & some other snippy, unsympathetic remarks.

Your thoughts?

So they have admitted that the recent immigration from eastern europe is causing considerable problems in most areas of the uk. Yea, its helping our economy but lets stop thinking about money for once and look at the other aspects. We keep hearing of hows theres not enough houses or not enough nurses - how about saying theres too many people here. Opinions?

Citizenship "Birthright" given to babies born from illegal Immigrants????

Personally I am 100% against this so-called Birthright Amendment. It drives ME absolutely insane....I hate to say it like this, but we need to wake the hell up, they have a plan from day 1 and that is to have a baby in america....and then another and another and another...so now their children are american citizens, but they dont speak english until eventually they go to school and of course WE PAY to have special ESL Classes so they can be taught english, even though they were born here in an english speaking country. What is that about?? I mean obviously, I feel bad for the children who's parents are makeing these terrible choices, but at some point when do we grow some balls as a country and stop letting people come here and demand that we owe them something. Please tell me your thoughts, whether you agree with mine or not, this is an open forum, so lets play nice.
