You have to wonder. After all, it might be "offensive" and a sign of "intolerance" to an atheist who's trying to re-write America's founding roots: RELIGION.

Mainly Judeo- Christian values too.

I mean, God forbid a Christmas Tree is displayed in a shopping mall. Or a Nativity Scence is displayed on someone's front lawn.

People (Mainly liberals) show much "tolerance" for Islam.

What about Christmas? Why are they trying to have a war on Christmas?

Actually, it's a pretty easy answer.

By the way, here's A FUNNY COMEDY VIDEO that both Conservatives and Liberals should enjoy.

Water vapour is the #1 greenhouse gas and as the world warms so does the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere increase.

If all our motor vehicles were hydrogen burning then the greenhouse effect would be much worse than it is today because burning hydrogen produces water vapour.

It is true that the atmosphere can only hold so much water vapour before it precipitates - rains. But most of the time our atmosphere has nowhere near its maximum quantity so there is a lot of room for more water vapour in our atmosphere and, therefor, water vapour can violently increase global warming.

The amount of water vapour in the air would, in and of itself, increase the amount of viscious storms. The warmer the climate gets the more water vapour can be held and the cycle would seem to continue.

Right?

Should we continue to push for hydrogen engines?

There is an old saying the "People do what is in their own personal best interest." If a person is on wefare and they have the right to vote. If candidate A says

"We need to cut welfare, implement a lifetime limit of 5 years on the government dime, and train these people so that they get a job"

Candidate B says

"We need to increase funding for our social and food stamp programs. Our poor can't afford to live on the meager allowance we give them. We should give $5,000 to every baby born and also fund a retirement program for them."

Which candidate do you think the person on welfare will vote for? Why do you think this way? Do you feel that this is fair to the rest of the citizens?

My answer is that they should not be allowed to vote when they are on the government dime because they would vote always for the candidate that offered them a pay raise for doing nothing. This would make the process fair because the people supporting the welfare recipients make the rule

MS-13, which most likely helped smuggle into America the 'army of operatives' Chavez has threatened to unleash, is the most violent gang in the United States, numbering in the tens of thousands, responsible for murders across the country and the subject of congressional investigations. At one point they were reported to be in over 3,500 U.S. cities.

Approximately 70,000 more are in Central America where many receive paramilitary training, and from the sound of things, have been sneaking in by the thousands from Mexico into the United States.

While most Americans are familiar with al-Qaida, they're less knowledgeable about a group spreading terror within U.S. inner cities: Mara Salvatrucha. Also known as MS-13, the Maras have 20,000 North American members. Mara cadres have set up in many American cities, creating the beginnings of a national command hierarchy, with some Maras on the East and West coast reporting directly to and paying gang dues to leaders in Central America....

I have been at my present company for 7 years. I am an assistant manager. The general manager went on maternity leave, and will be out for 3months. They sent a guy over who is a manager in training to take her place. I am to all of the paper work because he does not know how, but he is in charge.

I sent my regional an email asking why he feels I cannot run the place for three months. I have sent him pages, as well as left messages on cell phone and two months later I have still not heard from him. I am an african american woman, and the only african american in my region. I would like to know if you think this is some sort of discrimination

1.) Do you think we should go back to the rule that one needs to be a property owner to vote? I understand why they changed the rule when they did, but wouldn't it be a good thing to go back to now that there are so many looking for hand outs with nothing at stake, while on the other hand hard working tax payers risk much, much more?

2.) Stirring the pot even more...During the last election, 40% of women were undecided, then one night on national TV Gore kissed his wife on stage. The next day, polls showed that of those 40% undecided, roughly 75% of them changed threir opinion to vote for Gore...citing his romantic kiss as what changed their mind. I would think this embarrassing for the average woman voter, but with this in mind...should women still have the right to vote?

OK, OK, before the hate e-mails come...the 1st question is real for debate, the 2nd is just stirring the pot a bit. Try to have a great day, and don't let anybody ruin it far ya...including me! ;-)

I have to write a paper about a controversy. Mine is why does America think it is ok to use money to bail people out of jail. For example.....somebody commits a crime. They somtimes have two choices. The choices being you either spend a certain amount of time in jail or you pay a certain amount of money. I have to write about why America thinks that by making people pay money will teach them a lesson or get them to never do something again. I would love to hear everyone's opinion on this and any important information to help me write this essay.

I work with the homeless veteran population in a 2 year transitional housing facility. My job is to find housing for my clients when their two years are up. Their rent is currently 30% of their income which is usually a pension from social security or the VA. None of my clients get more than 900/mo... some get only 600/mo.

Several of my clients have felonies on their record from when they were in their 20s... they're now in their late 60s and don't qualify for affordable housing through the housing authority bc of their background. Where do seniors who have felony backgrounds live when all they have is their social security to live off of?

I live in Las Vegas and have contacted metro and they didn't know. I'm waiting on a call from a case manager at one of the correctional facilities for any halfway houses that are around, but I'm wondering if it would be affordable... esp for my clients that only recieve 600/mo. Any ideas?

There is a lot in this country that needs fixing and much of it depends on your point of view. Can we agree however, that hard work by everyone is a beginning? Does anyone take issue the principal that all able bodied people between 21 and 65 should be hard at work?

...presidential veto’s or congresses attempts to override such veto’s? aren't both legitimate uses of power? Whether or not you agree with a veto or an successful/unsuccessful override attempt, what do you think when someone criticizes the president or congress for "theatrics" or "political maneuvering" etc.? of course that’s what it is...THAT is the essence of politics...to get support and advocate an agenda that you will be at odds with others over.

Well there were many complaints of the stamp falling off the letters so president bush immediately ordered a presidential review board to look at the problem.
The review board reported back 3 months later with the following details:
1) the stamp itself follows all guideline correctly for shape size and wieght.
2) the glue on the back of the stamps passes all current adhesive regulations.

3) people are just spitting on the wrong side of the stamps.

It baffles me that the government harms our economy by forcing us to buy hemp from other countries?? Why isn’t it legal to grow hemp, yet it is legal to purchase hemp products? (BTW for those who don’t know you can’t smoke Hemp it wont get you high, and you can’t grow hemp and marijuana (to hide marijuana growth) because the hemp plants are male and female; and marijuana plants are only females and they would be damaged by the male hemp plants) http://votehemp.com/

I've spoken to a recruiter already but I still have unanswered questions. I am 9 to 11 credits short of earning an AA and the last time I took the SAT was in 2001-2002.
I'm 23, married, with one child, but I badly want be a Naval officer. I've been told I could enlist and try to be selected for the STA-21 program, but I'd love to finish school first and then go in.
Can anyone give me additional information? Has anyone been accepted in to NROTC with previously earned college credits?
